I like how they showed CGI on some of the PS3 games, and Fight Night which came out for the 360, then crappy games that don't show the greatness of the 360, should've chucked up a Halo 3 scene, and a Gears of War one then people would know the quality of Xbox 360.

Poor production and marketing has faltered the PS3s chances. When people buy the PS3 (Which they will because of fambase) I doubt they will consider getting the next console.

Originaly i felt that the ps3 would dominate the 360, even with the early 360 release. but now ive got the say with the added delays and especialy them not having it out in time for christmas, ithink a lot of people are going to give up waiting and side with the 360, and as we all know they will not be disapointed.

Microsoft just need to look at this as a good time to make a solid lead in Europe. Just because there is no Euro PS3 launch, does not mean they should slack. Bring out the kick ass games on time, make sure you have some good information at X06 and TGS, give us some great dashboard goodness and marketplace goodies, fire up XNA so we can start making our own games and make sure you don't delay Gears of War!

If Microsoft play it right they could clean up in europe. Just don't dissapoint us! What I saw at GC2006 means we have a great x-mas and beyond, just make sure they don't slip.

I know but it wont be as good as the 360's hense microsoft hense being the most richest company in the world. PS3 has to go 2nd rate

It doesn't really work like that though...both companies will be using the most cost effective parts rather than using the best ones in each area. Look at the 360 stock cooling, just not good enough...they could've done a much better job if they'd have wanted to splash a bit more cash.

Well I highly doubt either Company did/will be making the Hard Drives that all done by outside companies.

PS3 won't go 2nd Rate. It will be a good console if not just over priced. The only reason I'm not getting a PS3 is down to Price the inclusion of Blu-Ray doesn't bother me but I still don't think it's a Game Disk Format as the Loading times will be slower than DVD and the Compression technology is outdated compared to that of HD-DVD.

So thats why I'm not getting PS3, I assume alot of people have the same opinion. I assume.

It's not because were MS FanBoy's....Just thought I'd point that out

Yeah, there are a lot of reasons to dislike the PS3, but thinking they'll contract some crappier hard drive than Microsoft's contracting isn't one of them.

The Xbox on paper was more powerful than the PS2. If you think that's gonna be the same thing this time around, you're in for a bad awakening.

..On paper being the words you should be focusing on in that sentence, though.

Well if your write caps in succession it automatically gets altered by the forum and only the first letter becomes capitalised. If you look at his post you will see why I said what I did. If not then wow your blonde.

WTF. It's the internet people are free to express themselves freely. I know my ISP has nothing about banning or restricting my opinions. Maybe your on AOL. People did die for freedom of speech. Don't throw that conspiracy "The Government made you think" siht. It doesn't wash and is pretty damn disrespectful to the people who died. I understand there is a level of abiding by rules on the forum, without them it would be a mess. But people swear that's a fact of life and any normal human being does a certain level of it at the appropriate time. Freedom Of Speech on the Internet isn't up for Debate....

Mant and Russell (I think) set the rules for the usage of this site, if you don't agree or ignore these rules then they will Ban you. Where's your Freedom of Speech there then....

Your on someone else's "turf" now so you play by there rules. It's a well known fact. You set up your own site you can make the rules, until then Shut it.

Crap isn't a swear word at least not an offensive one otherwise it would have been blocked and I wouldn't have to childishly have to spell it wrong.

Take Grand Turismo 4, it was 18 months late. GTA San Andreas they called the games back that were sold online and made it a week longer.

PS3 i dont care if its stronger or what have you. Xbox has all i want and its had it longer than a year before ps3. And come on its got Xbox ive for a reason and ps3 wont be able to compete with that

and Playstation is going 2nd rate im not wrong on that. I know a few planned games for ps3 have had to of been 2nd rated down to PS2. There just so unorganised. Ok need more parts but could there be somthing else wrong with it? How long does it take to order parts?

It is all about games and that is all it will ever be about. Anyone buying a next-gen games console..yes, games console! to watch films is a bit mad. I would buy a carved out dog filled with beans and assorted rusty spanners if it played the games I wanted to play on it!

Seriously, you don't know what you're talking about. Read a lot more. A lot more, instead of just rumors from your friends. If we had a better search here I'd say just to look for posts I made about the PS3, but the search won't let you. They are unorganized, but 2nd rate isn't it.

Sony is really losing the plot here...

I must admit I have never been a Sony fan, but you only have to watch all the hype from Sony and you have to wonder what on earth they are talking about sometimes. Is it a gaming console, or an excuse to shove Bluray down our throats?

Well this latest set back can only work in favour of the Xbox 360 (Wii as well, but when you think console wars, you look at Sony Vs 360 as the Wii is trying something very different).

If Sony screw up the US and Japan launch, they are going to be in big trouble, I have no doubts about that. Everyone is expecting a lot of graphical power compared to the Xbox 360 for the price difference, so they might be a little shocked to see what they end up with!

One thing it has been an interesting read every couple of weeks as something else goes wrong for Sony. It could be just that Sony are the big boys thanks to the PS1 and PS2, but Sony really are their own worst enemy at times with some of the announcements and then excuses they make.
