Skynet Is For Real!!

Well as anyone who's familiar with the Terminator movies will know that Skynet was a supercomputer that looks after the US Nuclear program, and supposedly wipes out the human race in the near future by becoming "self aware".

Well I just read this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5322704.stm) and it sounds pretty scary. To top it all it's running with PS3 Cell chips :| :| :| :|

Did they not take any warning from the Terminator films.. :graw: Don't worry too much, as it's using Sony stuff i'm sure it will keep getting delayed.

a sony chip with a mind of its own will do one thing and one thing alone... realise how crap it is, how crap Sony is and will destory itself by sending multiple nukes to Sony HQ and where the super comp is...

Ha ha.. That's one way of seein things.. You could see it like Sony left Europe to wait and therefore it hates us. So would bomb us first :)

It's... a big computer. Possibly slightly more scary than a pocket calculator, but not by much.

Actually, I think you could step on a calculator and hurt your foot, which would make it more scary. I'm with Katz on this one.
