No, no ethernet port. There's gonna be an option for a USB adapter I think. And no, the graphics aren't that good. Xbox1-ish.

the wii looks pretty dam good for its games, the real gimiky ones, you know, the tennis, baseball, warioware etc. but things like red steel i think are looking bad, IGN just recently had some new gameplay footage from leipzig(?) and it did look very xbox, which inst a problem, its just that im used to better graphics now. :unsure:

Rmumour Mill is also suggesting that the graphics will be better than Xbox1-ish and that they are purposely playing down and degrading video in order to create hype at the Toyko Games Show (I think). I don't believe it myself...

I think most people will by it for the novelty value.

I'm feeling the same way as you more and more Blaze, I used to be super excited about the Wii, but I'm honestly now thinking about passing it at Launch and just getting a bunch of 360 games.

And it sucks. Because I want to see what it's about. But I'm starting to really feel bad about the graphics and no Achievements...

I hope this isn't how everyone's starting to feel, it could really hurt Nintendo :(

Nintendo isn't aiming for people who already own a 360. Not by a long shot. I think they'll be fine.

But, the lack of achievements? Meh. Not a deal breaker for me. I'm more concerned about my arms getting tired 20 minutes into some Wiimote swingin'.

defo not a launch day purches, but as soon as shortages stop and the 1st price cut comes arund ill be buying it, and by then ill have a wide selection of game to choose from!

More of a GeForce 3-4. A lot of 3 for the backbone of the card, but nVidia added a lot of stuff they'd put into their 4 series. The Wii is gonna have an ATI custom built card, but, seriously man. If it's gonna retail for <$200, they couldn't have told ATI to make it that serious. Look at the Wii screenshots. Xbox1ish is pretty accurate, I feel.
