A new TV for £1500

Any suggestions on a new tv for around £1500 (my dad has finnaly decided to get one), we need a stand and everything so it cant be too expensive, it cant be any more than 40 inch because it wont fit well and we really dont want a samsung because there tv picture is crap and my dad wants it for tv (and i want it for 360 lol).

Eh? Samsung TV picture crap? Was this a TV made about 10 years ago?

If your on about the new samsung range which is in your budget and by far one of the best ranges of LCDs out there then you better stick with a CRT mate.

But the picture grading (what ever that may be ;)) .....only gets 2 outta 5....im no techy, but that dont sound good.(:/)

just in every shop weve been in the samsung tvs when on sky hd dont look as good as the sony bravias which is probably what were going to get now.

Samsung crap? No way - good pictures and prices! also new one's have a game mode designed for 360s!
