So I was reading the Burnout 5 comments we have on are news page.

So I'm just going to tell you straight that this IS one of the best games (Burnout Revenge) for the 360. Not only that but it's one of the best games full stop.

What I don't get is how the hell you managed to compare it to PGR and the terrible Fortza?

Burn is a racing game with one of the main idea being you crash and you crash other stuff cause it's fun. PGR is driving with extreme skills.

Also just a small gripe I have. Don’t be lame and call Nokkonwud, Nokia. If you couldn’t read his name it's basically knock On Wood. Another thing. Most people don't make up that there a games designer. So your come back with "I'm Bill Gates" was quite pathetic.

Now back to the point. Fair enough you may not like the game. But how much of it have you played? I'm going to bet that in this poll 75% people are going to say that really liked the game. Mainly because there is nothing wrong with it. There is no other game like it. Also you made another mistake by comparing Burnout with Need for Speed. THERE BOTH DIFFERENT GAMES! NFS has no skill involved. You just hold the trigger down. You can't do that in burnout, it's like Ridge Racer and Outrun. You have to time your drifts right.

One again you are entitled to your own view. But when your explanation of your view sucks, your view is going to be criticised.

Well I don't know if ayone else does this but I split RacinGenre into two categories.... Racing Sims and Arcade Racers.

Racing Sms would be the likes of PGR...
Arcade Racers would be Burnout and Need for Speed.

Burnout however for me is better than all Racing gams full stop. I think the categories they go into is more based on the way they are presented to you, the environment, the story, etc.

Not sure on yor view on Need fo Speed as the last one was verygood.

Aha! the afore mentioned discussion. I've read through the comments and crashlock edit your comment. You may not agree that it is the best 360 game but there is no need for you to comment on their gaming choices by calling them "shallow". Everyone will have a different opinions on things sure but you can be nice without the need to insult NokkonWud. Your are however entitled to your opinion of course but not worded in the way that you have trying to belittle someone.

I really enjoyed Forza. and you say it's "terrible", which it is not, you just didn't like it because its not your type of game, just like I didn't enjoy Burnout, not because its "terrible" because its just not my type of game.

Sorry wasn't meant to come across like I didn't like the game. I liked it and have completed it but come on... you do just pull the trigger all the way through the game. :P

PGR (Y) - Forza (N)

I have Forza for the Xbox. I loathe it. I could give you reasons why but your post was stereotypical so I won't waste my time.

I suppose there could of been more to Need for Speed, there wasn't as much skills that you could preform in Burnout. Thats why Burnout is my favorite Racing Game be they do have there similarties.

It has none with PGR3 from what I have seen of the game.

I felt the same way about Burnout, I would just hold down the trigger and that would win the races, the game was fun for about two hours. However it all come down to the player, You can say its good taste, you can say its bad taste, I say (stop using asterisks to fool the filter, because people here are a bunch of Asian school girls who can't handle anything) taste, Play the games you like, and don't play the games you dislike.

My Post was stereotypical? You're the one being a hypocrite, you're mad that some one dislikes a game that you like, Now you're the one bashing a game that some one else enjoys.

Killer said it correctly, people have different ideas on games. Like I don't like the likes of PGR or Forza thats why I stick to the likes of Burn out and Need for Speed.

At the end of the day its all down to personal preference and what we like playing. I'm not a big driving fan but I have played a good few driving games over the years but it isn't my favourite genre. I don't dislike it I just prefer to play other games.

Not not mad. But let's re read your post.

Ahh... cause you would know what type of games I like and dislike?

Killer it's like you came into this thread trying to flame. Read peoples post carefully. Then make sure you re read what you have written. I made this thread to hear answers from
crashlock about why he doesn't like the game because he didn't give any reasons.

open discussion would be better as I can here the views of other members about the game.

Right stop taking posts out of context or trying to find something to whine about in them and just post your views on why you like or dislike the Burnout series and stop this nonsense now. That is all.

i have burnout, and pgr, and nfs - burnout is my favourite of the three.

NFS felt a bit shallow, didn't find it as enjoyable as the first need for speed on the xbox (which was soooo much fun!) I finished, and enjoyed it most of the time, but the fact it didn't matter what speed your car could do REALLY got to me. When i found that out i really lost all interest in it, no point in getting more money cause it didn't matter what you did to your car - which is surely the main point of the game/sub genre.

PGR is fun, but i find it too hard, especially those damned cone challenges! really need to work at it and i don't have the time for it so i can't get into really.

Burnout is a great pick up and play game, great fun. Love hammering it down the wrong side of the road at over 200mph squinting into the distance to see what is coming straight at you. Don't get to play it much cause of time restrictions, but its exactly the type of game i can play at the moment. Stick it on for 20 minutes, have a blast and turn it off again.

As has been said, it is not going to be everyones cuppa, and neither is PGR or NFS, but hey ho, that life....thats what all the people say, you flying high at.....sorry.

Burnout Revenge is in my opinion the best game on Xbox 360. I've gotten myself 25 hours on the 360 version alone, let alone the amount of hours I spent playing it on the original Xbox.

It is very different to the likes of PGR and Forza, as it is unrealistic. That's why I like it though, tearing down the wrong side of the freeway at 230mph is much more thrilling for me than inch perfect corners around levels on PGR.
