anyone else had any issues with console not reading the disc?

sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt :'( , any suggestions???

Maybe your disk is dodgy. Try giving it a GOOD wipe.

ive give it many a good wipe

thers a scratch around the rim (like, proper on the edge) that looks like the ones from when the console has been moved

i bought it pre-owned so it probably is that

i dont understand why it works 50% of the time though

Class game my erse, you aim at the hole, it says 100% power with wind behind you, yet it drops half way bang into the bunker :D

Apart from the bunkers that work like magnets it is a good game though, but not sure why you have these errors.

Nah it's not that hard once you get used to it, the power aspect of the game is just shocking, on a put and you do full power and it goes a quarter of the way, same with the bunker crap, I find it weird everytime I have to hit my ball over the bunker it always falls short and lands straight in the thing.

Plus their are about 4 courses and the career mode is 100% mince, I hope 07 is miles better as I will defiantely buy it.

Same here, I detest golf but love playing it, I hope the career is good, my cousin sat beside me and played 05 on the PS2, seriously the career mode was frigging amazing, he could buy more putters on that game than I could buy anything on 06, plus there was TONS and TONS to do, all I could do was silly challenges and random events...

I can't stand golf either, but always find the games enjoyable, although Tiger Woods 06 is one of the worst I hae played for a few years.

You are just all lazy. You dont have to run around getting tired. You get excerise from walking around the course. You can look smart without getting bullied. You are also carrying round a heavy bag of clubs which helps your strength. If you were good at it you would proably enjoy it but because golfers dont run around in their shorts then I can understand why you dont like it.

I tried once, down the field. My mate (who is fairly good) was "teaching" me. We lost all the tee's, so we used a coke bottle top. We have a Driver, and a something wood. I couldn't even hit the ball!! I tired, swung, tried to keep straight everything, it just wasn't happening. Then my mate stepped up and smashed it onto the road, how?!?!

My Uncle is a 6 handicap, though. :cool:

Yes a few times believe it or not,listen to this guy's i got two 360's ones my son's by the way,my son has the core but as payed for the extra's as that was the onlyone we could get him on launch day.
Right my 360 is the premium i have had alot of issues with it namely freezing, my son on the other hand as not had one problem, mad or what.
