My older dog is absolutely terrified of them. From Mid September till Late November she ofter refuses to go out the house after dark. She is getting on in years now (15) and she is partially deaf which helps a lot. If she does hear one go off she gets panic attacks and starts to shake and try's to find the darkest spot in the house to hide.
Its a real shame. I would ban them if I had the option.

Fireworks don't seem to bother my dogs but they hate hearing kids playing in the house oppsite us that starts them off barking most of the time.

I agree. They should make it that they are only seen at Public Displays, instead of beening freely sold to anyone.

Their hearing is much better than ours (cats & dogs). So to hear a firework at the rate of which they do would probably frighten anyone. Its no wonder that they run around like lunatics. I try and keep my cats in for bonfire night especially.
My dog is a beagle I think that's the english name, rabbit hunter. He's been with us for 5 months now, great dog but a bad hunter doesn't like to be alone. Hunting dogs normally get crazy with that kind of noises.
my cats alrite with them, nothing really seems to bother her at all

My Lola (Staffy and really soft) is brad pitt scared of any bangs but it is a bad night on any fireworks displays and dont mention thunder. I feel so sorry for any dog that hates these. Lola shakes and pants so much im convinced she give herself a heart attack sometime.
Poor things
