Not the best thing for this country but a popular social turning point for young women and girls growing up in the 90's.

With the pharse "Girl Power" whether they lived up to it is something else however the words did inspire the thoughts of many young women into leading more in what still is a male-dominated world.

Yea I wasn't one of the people saying it, I was in a Thick Class. You know the class were you start with 30 and finish with 5 as the rest got excluded....

I got stuck in that class for French, I learnt nothing.

Well, everyone should learn languages. I'm currently looking into learning japanese. There is nothing I hate more than ppl that go abroad and don't make the slightest effort to familiarise themselves with the language. Especially when they decide to move there.

I get so many FR's after games when everyone knows I'm a girl. It's silly. There was a time on Halo when I got 2 FR after each MatchMaking game. :(

Back on topic, the only Spice Girl still successful is Victoria, but only because she married David Beckham...

they are up most filthyist sell out s of all time they are up their will all the bottom feeder boy bands, they made some of the worst songs ever and i think they should be publicly hung along side boyzone, take that and sclub 7 for crimes against musicand humanity it wasntabout the music with them it never will be with simlar bands its about the money and the fame and for that reason i hate them also there music was pure ----

Konnichi wa is hello in Japanese! :) One of the only things I know. I'm currently looking into Hiragana, the basic alphabet with about 50 characters.

LargeAndInCharge sounds tempting, but I do like my current GT... And I'm very selective with my FR's and always ask ppl where they're from and why they added me.

Problem is "Girl Power" was a sort of anti-feminism. It wasn't really about empowerment at all. It was about buying and flirting and buying more. It was singing songs about sex that someone else wrote for them. Leadership the Spice Girls did not create.

They sold millions of albums and made loads of money. And isn't that what the music business comes down to? It's sad, but reality.
