No Online for COD3

I was looking for scans for the BF:BC article in GI Magazine, and I happened to stumble upon a bit of news that said an official from Activision said there will be no online for COD3 on the Wii.

I think that's very stupid of whoever made the decision, as I will now not give buying COD3 on the Wii a second thought.

The question is why did they leave it out, did Nintendo screw up the online part of the console, or was Activision just too lazy to make it on the Wii?

well it could be the fact that all, yes ALL 3rd party games that come out before jan 2007, WONT have online. Thats right, nintendo hasnt given them the code or something, and wont until the start of 2007, so its Ninty who are being idiots (Y)

Why would anyone want to buy this kind of game on the Wii?? That's the real question.

The whole idea of the Wii is for cheap fun games.

COD is all about realism and war. Therefore the 360 and PS3 will be the better option to play that franchise on.

I hardly used online on COD 2 because story mode was so good. Anyway anyone with a Wii will be on Super Smash Bros.

I should be getting the Nintendo Wii, however as someone else pointed out it won't be for Call of Duty it will be for Mario and Luigi. So the fact that some xbox 360 titles or possible titles won't be online for the Wii is a "mute" point.

I'm nowhere close to deciding what games I'm getting for the Wii, link. I'm simply saying that any gamewouldn't be for an Xbox Live style multiplayer FPS extravaganza bash of blood.

Not only will the controls be messed with, but if the reports of the Rev having graphics capabilities comparable to the first X-box, the graphics will have to be raped.

Pretty much, yeah. Ports for the Wii will suck. But, at least it'll count towards a game library- something the GC had trouble with.
