I've never heard of someone using the screen on their laptop for their 360 but someone here may have.

Depends more on your laptop than the cable, really. Does your laptop have any video in?

Really, if you're asking, the answer's probably no. It's not like you bought a laptop to do video editing. But I guess the best bet would be component cables.

i would say no. the majority of laptop cant have any plugged into it to display on the screen, even if they do its not gonna be in HD, it'll be via the video card through composite, not great quality.

You could always just connect it upto a Normal PC Monitor especailly if your not fused about size and it you haven't got one. They are relatively cheap compared to a HDTV

Don't forget if or when the time comes you are going to get a HDtv, post about which ones you are thinking of getting because some of us may have it already and will be able to tell you the pros and cons of it.
