My housemates have just called me crazy for watching Star Wars Episode IV on TV, although I have them all on DVD.
Is that really crazy? Is anyone esle watching it, although they have it on DVD?
(BTW it's on Sky Movies 1 for everyone here who's from the UK).

How exactly is that crazy, I mean, if it's on and you want to watch a movie, I don't see what's wrong with that even though you have it on DVD.
You also don't have to bother getting the DVD out and putting it in, which is something I would rather not do if I could just watch it on TV. Then again I'm lazy :p

carocat I love you. :)
Why? You've just reminded me that I need to go and watch The 40 Year Old Virgin after Star Wars has finished, I would have forgotten otherwise.
Been wanting to see this film for ages.

I'm not in the UK, so I'm gonna have to assume that this is a subscription channel without commercial interruption or edit.
In which case, not really. I mean, if there was nothing better on TV, you saved yourself the hassle of getting up and taking the disc out of the case.

And I love you - for reminding me that the 40 Year Old Virgin is on after! Yes!
I saw it earlier and set a reminder but the chances are knowone would have the TV on, so t'is all pointless. :D
Love triangle 4tw! :D

Yeah Blaze, Sky Movies is our only advert-free subscription channel (or group of channels) nowadays.

Yeah, I've done that before. Crazy really.
On a sidenote, there is way too much love going on in this thread, guys! :)
And well, it's not really effort, my DVD is right next to the TV and my 360... I've got no excuse basically...

Well it's Star Wars isn't it....I can't even count the amount of times I've watched it on TV even though I have the videos and DVD's.

40 year old virgin was a letdown. It could have been so good, but ended up just being a bit of a letdown for me.
The ending is class though. :D

Yeah, I never did like that film.
Whoever watched it, did you nearly fall asleep when the guy started talking at the end of SW? You know, when he was trying to explain the story of episode 5?

I found the 40 Year Old Virgin hilarious....I've seen it so many times now and it still cracks me up!
When I saw the trailers for I thought it was gonna be really corny but I found it insanely funny right from the off....the Tiajuana Woman Horse weekend versus the Egg Salad Sandwich weekend is brilliant!!
