I've switched to TalkTalk don't know exactly how they are yet but it looks promising so far. Sky is another one, I hear they got some awesome deals out now, but I don't know anyway who's with them yet, though I think Dcontrol said he may switch to them.

Whatever you do, dont switch to Bulldog. I have had serious problems with them since Feb this year. It took them over 4 months to resolve a connection problem. They also suspended my account twice for non-payment. Even though my billing details had not changed since I joined them in August last year.

I am in the process of switching the line back to BT and then I think I will go back to Pipex or switch to Plusnet.

Don't go with Plusnet. Their cust service is [insert many, many swearwords here]. We moved house and didn't have the net for nearly 2 months. They claimed it was connected, BT said there was no connectivity on the line, etc. They basically lied to us and only managed to sort it out when we threatened them with court.

I have heard Pipex are meant to be quite good. Can anyone confirm that?

Really?

Sounds really good. I will probably switch to them if the opportunity arise's. Should I have got some sort of letter about this? :s

It's 8 times faster than mine and £6 cheaper. Only problem is will they do a Wireless option like my Livebox, hmmm.

As far as I know Sky are still integrating it. We're with Sky and according to our Sky deal we'd get 8MB for free.

However, Sky have told us that it won't be available til possibly late summer. So god knows when it's going to happen.

So you are going to get Sky in you area now after it was released way back inn 1989. I wonder if it'll be the 16 channel package or Sky+...or i bet you cannot wait (lol)

I'm on Wanadoo, no it's Orange now - wireless and talk. You get that cool looking livebox, unlimited downloads?, free internet calls (never use) and connection speeds on wireless of 54mbps. Had no major problems.

I think it's in the region of 22quid a month.

I'm with an ISP called: http://www.demon.net/images/common/demon_logo.gif

They were the first to provide internet access to the UK and have been fantastic!! When I need help setting up I rang them up a couple of times and it was like 2 rings and I got straight through to a brainy technician.
As for performance- I get 250kbps download speed and I live in a village. At that speed I beat several friends in the local town on other ISPs. Master Chief says uses DEMON:halo: :fps:

£19.99 a month for an 8MB line. Or as fast as you exchange can manage. One of the best ISPs money can buy jigger!!

Yeah, we tried to get 6MB with Wanadoo and we can't get it yet, very few area's will be able to get the 16MB one.
