It's ok....still learning how to play it properly.

I was winning the first scenario by about 2million and had bankrupted 2 players but it went on for aaaages....I got bored and went all in with no hand...so I'll have to do it all again one day.

I'm not sure if I like this yet. I'm still in my first round of single player and it isn't very impressive at the moment. My internet is too inconsistent to go on Xbl at the moment. :(

Either way, the rules are explained here: http://boardgames.about.com/cs/poker/a/texas_rules.htm

My god! The single player is absolutely appualing!

Everytime, the computer just folds, as soon as any money is put into a pot they just fold, the idiots. It is pointless playing Single Player, t'is just poor.

On Live though, that's a different story. :o It's quality. What a laugh that game just was :D, hahaha. I'd love it if you don't get your money back AJ. :D :| *cough*

Blaze Lord
23/Aug/06, 03:16 PM
Maybe you've just been playing with weird computer players.

Most of mine were pretty conservative, folding, but there were a couple who would reraise each other back and forth over an ace-high with nothing doing on the flop. So, they successfully scared me out with my pair of sevens.

No no I haven't got the wrong idea I just worded it wrong its been amended now though, I was in a rush to be fair. Also I remember saying this a couple of days ago

For 48 hours only – Wednesday, August 23 through to 6pm EST Friday, August 25 – as a special limited-time only promotion, gamers can download and own the game at no charge after this 48 hour period has expired you have to pay 800 ms points to have the full game as I understand it.

why the hell did you edit my comment?
just because you got it wrong and looked like a fool, it doesnt mean you can change it to make it look like you were right.

you clearly stated the opposite to what is there now, dont abuse your mod powers

I have not edited your comments in any way if I have show me the post and I have admitted that I worded it wrong on the news section. I suggest you keep your comments about my "powers" as it were to yourself as I have not abused them in anyway shape or form.

Too many people on live go all in after 2-3 hands.

Juust played a game where 4 guys all go all in, after 3 hands.

One of them had 7-2, and he was the third to go all in too. It's not like he was trying to bluff or anything.

This was on tourney mode btw.

You just discovered that some people on Live are douchebags, and you'll occasionally come across a game filled with douchebags. It happens.

Heh. Pretty much. It's hard leaving though, when they keep buying new chips and losing soooo predictably.

In real life you only go all in when your money is getting low or 2 or 3 players fight to the limits

but your right, it fun winning all heir money

True, but when the chip counting is computerized it's easier to go all in yourself as a chip lead than tap right a few times to push the other guy all in.

RiLu@
24/Aug/06, 03:40 PM
yeh it's much easier when you don't have to count chips just push the botton, but it gets boring when people goes all in all the time.

Anybody who says that they're "really good" usually isn't. It's like having a poker tattoo.
