I can't wait to get a HD-TV I went to best buy to check some out they are hella sweet, but they are really expensive, everyone please pray for so I win the lotto, so I can buy a HD-TV.

Well, my dad bought my family an hdtv about a year ago before I heard that xbox 360 was gonna have HD, so its all good.

My friend's family recently got themselves a frickin massive HD Plasma Widescreen...the thing's like 1 meter wide...only problem is: he's a sony fanboy...and wll only be getting a 360 if the launch lineup looks appealing..

I can really recommend waratah as a company really helpful once had a PC Monitor what went wrong they were out the next day collected it then delivered me a new one within days !! :)

Tob3z when you play XBOX on this TV are the games quite jaggy?? i think it shows so much detail that it makes it look a tad crap !! :| I'm using RGB scart

Im using a HD Component pack. It doesn't look to bad. Its not the TVs fault.
The TV is so good it shows that the xbox doesn't have very good anti analising.
Don't worry about it to much. 360 will look perfect.
Try Burnout Revenge if you can get your hands on it. Now that game on the samsung looks..... ummmm so very very sweet. :D

You need to change your xbox to output NTSC video format. But it basicly is xbox hi def.

Okay Im planning on picking up an HD TV but im on a super tight budget should I pick this HD TV (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7006045&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat31800050031&id=1099392081898) up or if anybody has a better one, I cant spend more than $600.

If you are going to spend money i would save up the extra till you can afford a proper good HDTV it will be worth it in the long run to be completely future proof :geek:

Tob3z, a tv like that would probably cost between $1000-$1500 money I dont have but thanks for the advise, Im just going to wait till next year when I save up enough money to get myself a TV like that :)

Oh yeh lol. Defo warm. If you got cold hands just put them on top for a minute.
Nothing to worry about. A lot of LCDs get warm. Some even have fans.

Its a Toshiba 42" WLT58, was going for Plasma but the screen burn scared me away. Anyway this cost me £2k plus £300 for warranty, great set! Two HDMI ports as well, roll on HD! Mind the pics, its only a 2.0mp mobile pics. Also bought a 5.1 system with rear wireless speaker form Sony for £418.00. Mind the sofas and the room, we have been extending the house and so short of cash, need new sofa, curtains, table etc..

Also I dont have a Xbox LOL! I had a choice between the two, and at that time there was no Pro Evo/Winning Eleven on Xbox, so I got PS2. Cant wait for Xbox360, after my GCSEs :( Thats like 6 months

I just took me along time to load the site, I'm at school right now and there Internet speed sucks. Like I said thats a nice T.V, I'm planning on getting a Samsung like the one Tob3z and Donk have in the near future.
