what game is better?? BF1942 or BFV?

iam thinking of buying battkles feild 1942 or battle feild veitnam, my instinct told me to go for the newer one but wen i looked at the sever numbers there are more people online in 1942, the reason iam not getting BF2 is becose i dont think it will work wiv an geforce 2 graphics card.. so wich game is better???

1942, my PC ran it very well and V was sticky as (word deleted try not to use expletives the filter is there for a reason), plus the maps are rubbish as it's in Vietnam and the fatc not many people play it, 1942 all the way.

kk, thanks Kalou, i will probly get BF1942, but iv just been on the V website and they have releaed a modthat lets you play the best maps from BF1942 but on the V engine, ill have 2 see how many maps 1st i suppose, what graphics card do you have?

I had a Ti 4600 at the time, BF1942 is better overall though because it has Desert Combat that is a mod, which is alot better than the game itself and when I played 1942 alot of people played DC because it was just that good.

yer iv been hearing alot about desert combat but iam not sure what it is, is the ATI 4600, the ATI equivilent of the geforce 2??

Nah mate the Ti is the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 not an ATI card :)

Desert Combat is just that, desert, it adds lots and lots of new things ranging from uniforms to jets, seriously it's like a completely different game, look for the website and check some screens/videos.

Like the other guy said, Desert combat is regarded as the best mod...so good in fact that I believe the guys who created it were taken on by Dice.

I would of gone for 1942, a much bettre game, BFV's online code is terrible compared to 1942 which runs so smooth and the community (although older) is still more active.
