Sweet, but I doubt I'll take the time to download it. I'm not much of an RPG-guy aside from Oblivion but, well, that game rocked ass.

Just a question to anyone who knows: Is it an action RPG or a turn-based one?

I'm a little mixed by the demo so far. It seems so much like Dynasty Warriors, but it feels better some how. I don't know...I'm guessing I'll get tired of it after a while, but it does look nice while you are messing up a ton of goblins.

I started downloading it and will finish it off later. I know my friend will definitely be getting this so I'll probably end up borrowing it from him, as I tend to get bored of these games after a while.

I got a master filter for all telephone lines in my house besides the one the ADSL is connected too... basically the point closest to the XBOX now doesn't do ADSL. I'm going to have to fork over $170 for the 360 to pick up the wireless...
Depressing! Anywhich way it looks like I can't be online for a while :(...

Back on topic... I was excited about this game when I heard of it but became disapointed the more I heard about it... its a bit like dynasty warriors only less tactical and apparently the story kinda sux... graphics look nice but still...
I wish they'd release a nice game for Japan... the 360 will never take off there at this rate :/

According to some reviews I've read, the story becomes more engaging as you go through all of the characters missions. Whether that is true or not, as well as if that makes a difference remains to be seen.

The graphics are probably the best part about the game. It's very surprising that you can have that many characters on screen that look as sharp as they do without having frame-rate issues.

well I downloaded the demo. The graphics are quiet good. Once I got nearly 300-400 guys on screen at one time, it was hilarious, i didn't knew who i was killing, also at one time i got 4900 combo hits and I nearly slayed 3900 guys and they kept coming

It's definitely better then Dynasty Warriors! It's got a ton of combos that at least try to mix it up and the onscreen number of dudes is plain awesome. Nice graphics too but there are a few framerate issues.

Having said that it's still pretty much button mashing and it gets kind of boring. Also as everyone else said there's no strategy. Probably gonna get a rent out of me.

Yeah, from what I can tell its definetely not worth buying but its quite rent worthy.. IMO atleast.

Well it depends, if it's incredibly long and you can unlock a ton of new combos then I might end up picking it up. Def a rent first though.

Well, there are six or seven characters to play through, so you probably have a good value out of the game. I just don't know if you'll want to do that. I would think the gameplay would just get pretty old after you finish the first character's storyline, depending on the length.

I played it and I thought it was quite good fun if a little repetitive but then again all these type of hack and slash games are. The visuals are pretty neat and the fact that you can level up and upgrade rpg style has impressed me at the minute. I like it when there are loads of characters on screen and the button bashing gets to the maximum! Whether or not I get this game though I'm not too sure at the moment but I thought it was ok.

I didn't even keep my eye on this game. all i knew was it was going to save the 360 in Japan.

But, then i heard it was like DW and i was like hmm i'll download it so started to play it and i can'y get off it, im addicted, love it so much, i love the gfx and it wips DW games up the arrse.

There is something inherently cool about the game that makes it so much better than Dynasty Warriors. Although I'm not a big fan of hack and slash games that N3 was going for, it does it quite well, at least from the demo.
