This download only came out like a month or so ago and it's already possible to now buy it for free! I'll get it later. (Y)

Yeah the developers are going crazy.. It's not selling, and this isn't going to help.

I personally think that Some Developers are releasing Downloadable Content too soon.

In my opinion Downloadable Content should be avialable about at least 6 Months after the launch of the game. And at that it shouldn't be confusing with lots of different options, just straight forward say 3 or 4 different "packs" at the most and be fairly cheap!

well my view on downloadable content is they should release something about 3 months after a games release, and the download contect should be like an expansion pack especially for oblivion thats what they should of done.

6 months is a long time in the game world m8ty. 2 to 3 months for each new nugget of content should be ideal. Look at the way COD2 took off again when the new map packs where released. It game the hardcore players something new to learn and the casual gamer the encouragement to get back in there and play on line again.

I like the way COD2 does it with a few new maps in one pack or how oblivion does it with a small add-on for 200 or so points because that gives people more choices. I really dont' mind when they come out as long as it's after a month or so.. otherwise it should be in the original game or be free.

Yea maybe... but I think they should make it more "seasonable" rather than random and what sometimes appears as constant array of downloadable content. I personally Oblivion is the worst offender of this.

Every 3 months would be suitable, but I think they are getting carried away and only money grabbing!

Oblivion is kind of bad about it but at least they give you a lot of choices. It'd be nice if they offered a cheaper pack with a few of them though :s

A lot of people have invested a major amount of time playing Oblivion and I think they really appreciate that there is downloadable content released on a regular basis for it.

i reckon 6 months is an acceptable time for new content, not before

well i play oblivion quite a bit,and i just think they are realeasing to many addons for the game, lot ppl must get them as they wouldnt realese them but i think releasing little dungeons and hourse armour for 2 pounds about a time is a joke.
