The title speakes for itself.

How long have you playing games online, weather it be Xbox, PS2, PC or whatever...and whatsorts of games have you been playing?

For me, my experience is fairly low. The 1st online game I played was Pro Evo 4, that ws fairly poor as it was extremely laggy and 9/10 unplayable. So that was basically no experience. Then came my 360 in November and I didn't even sign up to Live until I got PDZ in like February and I have played PDZ loads, but not as much as some people have played games like Counterstirke etc. that's probably why I aren't THAT good on it, becuase I do not have much FPS online experince compared to others. However, seen it was my 1st online FPS I enjoyed it loads which I probabvy why I am still tommy tanking over it. :D

I think I started with Medal of Honor Rising Sun on the PS2.. No wait, Battlefront. I started playing Empire Earth on the PC then, and then I got my XBOX and went crazy. Even worse with my 360!

Before I got my 360, I'd only ever played Age of Empires 2 online on my PC, but that was against a mate.

So, basically, online gaming for me started with the 360. And I've loved every bit of it.

My First game online was a match on Call of Duty 2 with Rollercoasterider, first thing I ever said into the Mic was "No" When some one asked if I was the host, I said that after 2 Months of playing online, I used to not say much, or anything for that matter, now, I can't shut up!

I only started playing online in January this year. I have had a PC for ages but never got the bug to go online with it.

Unreal Tournament on a 56k modem. Gamed for hours. Was a brilliant game (still is) and with custom mods, levels & skins it was even better.

You take a cool robot skin. Use a "timmy" from south park voice and then to top it off the matrix moves mod and bullet time mod. Doesnt get much better than that. Plus it's great fun at lans. Had massive 2x 32 player matches at school.

Then it all went downhill from there ecause games started being sloppy with there network code.

Played Championship Manager 03/04 online with some people I knew for a couple of seasons which was great. Then I used to play Age of Empires and Cossacks online which were great. Now I have LOTR BFME2 with Xbox Live, so I should be playing that game lots, just like i did with Age of Empires.

I never speak online due to my gaming tourettes. It turns me into the most foul mouthed individual.

The very first game I started playing online was Unreal Tournament for the PC on a 56k connection, it was still a good laugh though, I then played Dungeon Siege etc, but it wasn't as non stop as it is now, the first game I played continuosly was Halo 2, that got me into Xbox big time.

The first online game I played was on Xbox Live via the Xbox 360 was probably Perfect Dark Zero and this was a totally new experience to me.

I thought it was great and can't get enough of the features avialable, and wonder I played without it. The ability to keep track of your progress compared to your mates is a create idea.

As Perfect Dark Zero was my first game I was totally impressed, however I was more impressed when I got on Halo 2 online. That keep me busy for a few months!

Back in the day it was Doom, Heretic and Hexen and then loads of Quake online. Progressed onto Half Life and various cool mods (Action HalfLife...I love you!) Quake 2 and Arena. The Unreal games online. Done most of the good FPS's online and a load of MMO's. Got addicted to playing Ultima Online...and then WoW *laughs* Also got addicted to playing Diablo and Diablo 2. Must...get..green..item..sets...

I pretty much play anything online just to see if it is any good. Also I can then tell people if certain games are good or not.

I started my Xbox Live experience with Halo 2. And after that I've really just been jumping from one game to another looking for the one with the best thrills, so far Team Rockets on Halo is the best (original).

I first got on the net with my Dreamcast using the Dream Key software to surf. So it was Sega that got me interested with the internet not only to game but to browse aswell. Mainly because the steps to connecting were easier to do than on a PC at the time. It also meant you could check out some ---- :pdark: without worrying about anyone finding the history and cache like on a PC. Awesome :)

Pffft... for a start about 10 sites were blocked and then trying to go back so when your mum walked in she wouldn't see what was on the screen took about 10 button presses.

Well this is what my mate said. I don't have a dreamcast.

10 year olds screaming down the mic. People who swear constantly (like not even funny swearing). People who can't play the games there playing so they just screw everyone else over. Cheaters. Other than them, awsome experience.

Yeah, but for the most part it's only in certain games.

I started with Red Faction as soon as it was released in 2001, played it all day every day because it was so damn good, it got an 8.8 off IGN (http://uk.pc.ign.com/objects/014/014872.html) then the game was dieing due to the lack of competitive play so I switched to Medal of Honour: Allied Assault the day it got released in 2002, again played that hardcore until around 2005 when I completely stopped, and again IGN gave it a good rating, 9.3 to be precise (http://uk.pc.ign.com/objects/015/015983.html) and to this day it's still a very popular game.

For some reason, although I do love online gaming, I just couldn't find games to replace these so I am "retired" after only 4 years :(

I started 6-7 years maybe...started on PC with original UT, HL DM, Q3, DOD, CS1.4, RTCW & ET, played through to CS1.6, CC:S, DOD:S, HL2 DM.

Xbox started with Midtown Madness and Pro Evo4 up to SF Anniversary and Halo 2.

Then of course the 360.

I had the Dreamcast..but it was very basic surfing rather gaming....agree with Crashlock...Dreamkey ---- surfing..hehe. As soon as I was able to hook it up my came round he had first go...went to a search engine..1st thing ever searched 'big floppy donkey d*ck'...rofl!

I think MJ is my clone, pretty much the same for me. HL and UT, followed by Quake 3 are the ones I have the earliest memories of playing online. Throw in DAoC and World War 2 Online to MJ's list and that's me.
