What do you think the Isreali's and the Lebonesse should do in this current situation? Do you think this could escalate into a wider conflict?

I'm flippin fed up with hearing about these distant religious nut-ball nations having a mini t|t-for-tat war over some land. I really don't care for either. I hope they blow each up entirely. Maybe they could take Iran with them too (Y) I have no respect for them due to them putting religion at the root of all this. Like jesus cripes your going to cause all this hate, killing and destruction of peoples lives, because your religion says something about being on a particular bit of land. What a monumental joke. I'm not a big fan of any religion. There so ignorant it's not funny (in my experience). Anyone who puts religion before the well being of another human is nut i say. I believe there is something after you die but if you look at all the religions around the world. If your intelligent and strong minded enough you can clearly see world regions are mans attempt to explain what happens when you die. Like what's beyond this world. I certainly think if there is something there we won't be able to understand it and that we shouldn't live our lives buy books of made up stories which pretend to know(The Bible). We should live for the people around us instead.
Not only that but. I think it's disgusting that every morning we have reporters talking about what's going on in the Middle East. Where's the news about important stuff at home? I want the same sort of media frenzy that they waste on middle eastern coverage (which has naff all to do with the UK) around our problems at home. Why do we pay so much more for EVERYTHING in the UK than anyone else does in the world? Why is our rail network a bag of bolts? why is the NHS being swamped with paperwork? Why are teachers swamped with paperwork? Why are local councils idiots? Why do we build new house so close together and on clone like estates? Why are we ridiculously lax on criminals? There are so many problems at home that the media should be attacking and exposing. But instead they decide we need to hear about religious nutters half way around the world, politician scandals and celebs latest sex stories. (M)

Maybe they get no respect considering they established the 1968 [I think] International Borders for Israel and Palestine yet Isreal just ignore them and continue to occupy the terrortries. I'm not saying it's all there fault but they have a alot of explaining to do.

Along with the countries and there attitudes towards Israel in that region, and the conscentrated effort on Religous Beliefs!

I really think that Israel are overreacting to this situation. I realize that they want Hezbollah to stop attacking their people. However, this whole thing was set off by the capture of two Israeli soldiers. Americans lose two people in a Iraq every other day if we are lucky.

The other problem is that they are not striking solely at Hezbollah, but they are striking at the Lebanese goverment, which is ticking off the Syrians and the Iranians. I don't think this will amount to anything, though. Relatively minor stuff for the Middle East, these days.

Sad times we live in. Oh well, back to games! :party:

Well, religion is just gay. It does no good. All it does is make wars. 9/10 war is esculated due to religion, and frankly it's just pathetic.


Either just wipe out religion (lol) or just make sure people are allowed to believe in what they want and other's should respect that.

I don't ever think that Religion was the TRUE cause of any war, people use Religion as a means to there own ends. We need to stop blaming Religious Beliefs for wars and stop people using Religion as a means to an end.

Secular States is the only way in which this can be done... Where religion is a private affair, and should not be brought into Political Affairs. However with all subjects such as Religion they will obviously enter the platform now and again much the way anything else does.
