Gadget of the month is....

I think this keyboard is just amazing!!!!
"This tiny device laser-projects a keyboard on any flat surface... you can then type away accompanied by simulated key click sounds. It really is true future magic at its best. You'll be turning heads the moment you pull this baby from your pocket and use it to compose an e-mail on your bluetooth enabled PDA or Cell Phone. With 63 keys and and full size QWERTY layout the Laser Virtual Keyboard can approach typing speeds of a standard keyboard... in a size a little larger than a matchbook." ThinkGeek.com

When it gets a bit cheaper then - I'm having one.(Y)

Pretty sweet, I'd be interested if that projector part would fit in the keyboard tray of my desk.

It says its about Matchbook size so i guess it's quite small.

I can see this laser keyboard thing creeping into keyboards on public internet stations. I'm gonna finally feel like Johnny Mnemonic using this :):):)

I saw this on the gadget show last year sometime it wouldn't feel right using a projected keyboard. It doesn't work well in bright light either.

I looked up a few reviews for it.. only read one though XD

They said its frustrating for anyone that touch types at a decent speed ie me
Slow typing only :(
Screw that...

Ahwell.. maybe in the years to come they'll perfect it and make it all nice and uber

I don't think I'd like using this, especially not for games.

For me at least the keys need to give some response, a few laptops I've tried have keys that don't actually press down and it feels completly wierd.

On the gadget show it said it's not suitable for games, it's more of an expensive novelty item, but it may be a start to a different typing future.

It would be great for your mobile multi media device of the future. If they could improve it.:)

I'd just buy it so i could send texts quicker from my mobile- or for mobile surfing on Web&Walk with T-Mob.

They'd have to shrink that projector quite a bit for a mobile.. If they could do that, it'd rock bad.
