i use Bt broadband and have a monthly downloadlimit of 30gb and they sentmea thretning email saying if i diddnt stay with in the limit.
charging me 1 pound for every gb i go over, aparentlyi used 99.7 gb last month.
so im thinking im going to switch to aol which has unlimited acsess, anyother sugestions.

ive done 135gb in a month once, no email :D
im on freedom2surf, but they changed their things now so its not unlimited, although im still on the unlimited one :D

the thing is i was on unlimited and it was in my dads name they couldnt change it as i signed up for unlimited.
but then my dad died and the main name got changed to my mams they used this as an excuse to change my deal s, aol 8mb unlimited sounds good to me.

they used to make u install invasive software back in the 56k day
I'm with AOL and find em great (Y) AOL seems to get alot of stick never sure why tho. :unsure: 6years with them and never had a serious problem.
Also you dont have to install the AOL software anymore :)

Yes i use bt broad band as well how do you find it i find it ok

50GB cap only in peak times. So if you want to download stuff just do it at night.

Im on wanadoo, sorry orange now wireless and talk with the flashing wireless hub (cool act'lly).
don't no what dl limit is my pal who's on orange normal broadband say's it 2gb per month. never being charged extra so far
Thinking of changing mine to that new BT hub, that has a 40gb dl limit.
So we'll see

8mb aol is unlimited download limit, and im not going to lie to you my hobbie is downloading tvshows and movies off bit torrent

I'm with BT and only get 2GB limit a month and i download well over 2GB a month but has ever come of it.
AOL is ment to be really bad from what ive heard so try Tiscali theyve got unlimited downloads and i had them for dial-up and they were good(Y)

im already sold with aol i get 8mb wireless and free kit routerandthat, only down side is ill have to buy the wireless adapter for the 360

tiscali are bad when it comes to downloading, they warn you allllll the time

Bittorrent in and of itself isn't 'very illegal'.
Just to make sure this doesn't go off topic. P2P (Bit torrent etc) isn't illegal... well UK and US it isn't. It's the sharing of copyright data. Games, Music etc.
So case closed on P2P now please :)
tiscali are very bad plus they have a peak time limit cap. Most ISPs do apart from AOL I think.

Then hook the 360 up to the media center. $60+ is way too much to spend on a wireless adapter if you have a wired connection right next to the console.

Im with BT Yahoo Boardband, Is there a way to check how much i've used so far? or do they just send u a letter once you've gone over?
