It would rule If it looked something like that. I think the DS Lite is a good design for portability. It worked well back in the days of Game & Watch's, so I hope MS go for the clamshell design. You get more room for screen and buttons. That means they could get the 2 analogue sticks there for FPS games and still get a wide screen without making it a complete boat (very wide-not very portable). Plus when you fold it you protect the screen and buttons from knocks and scratches.(Y)

That's what I was thinking and wondered what that might look like as an Xbox/Xboy portable. Thought I would share the pic i made with you lovely people.:)

still what id go with is the 360 controller, with a screen in the middle, making it like 2 inchs wider than the normal controller

Actually chap if that was both the logo and console design. They wouldn't. Nintendo wouldn't have a strong enough case whatsoever. They have been significantly changed from anything Nintendo has patented or copyrighted. :geek:

they would most definatly have a case, the entire outer casing is EXACTLY the same pretty much apart from the lower bit. the hinge is the same, mic in the same place, GBA slot ;) Headphone attach bit triggers etc etc

Okies if you want to get picky. I'm talking if the case was something like that for example and the mic was somewhere like there if at all. The GBA slot of course won't be there and the headphone slot could go anywhere round the sides :). But the very fact that there isn't the dual screens that's the main factor that would differentiate between Xboy and DS Lite.:geek:

I think the triggers would have to be really well considered. I need a good trigger:)

Personally I think they are going to consentrant more on Media and Mobile issuses rather than Gaming.

If Microsoft want to take some of the shine away from iPod and PSP's they will need to provide storage and compatability with these devices. As no one's going to transfer from an iPod to Microsoft's new product if all there downloaded tracks (iTunes) are useless.

They just made an announcement that the "Argo" is only mp3, for now at least. That doesn't mean they can't take the design and make a later model for gaming though. I think they renamed it the "Zune" by the way.
