You are a nobody, an unknown, an 'extra' if you will, and you find yourself in a firefight. You have two guns (dunno why, you just do) There are two guys standing beside you, you have to give one of your guns to one of them, or you really will have no chance at all. The two guys are Jack Bauer and "Whichever Star Trek Captain You Prefer".

Which of the two do you give the gun to, considering their past record at keeping people they don't know alive.
