This week I treated myself to a 'fat' DS off Ebay. It came with the Metroid Prime Demo, which I love. Getting that game. What others can you recommend? :p

Fantastic. Metroid Prime is amzing well I played the demo and it rocked.

I sold my DS to fund my 360 but my sis got one for Xmas and I just use that. Super Mario 64 is fantastic and will keep you going. Mario Kart is the best racer and is online so couldnt be better. Super Monkey Ball is a really fun game as well and the mini games are class. I hear good things of Resi Evil but have not yet played it.

Any sort of game you were looking for???

Lol Pokemon peral is coming out soon for DS and its 3D
but ive only got 1 game for my ds the now and thats mario cart :P
Might trade my fat ds in for the small sexy white one ;)

I have nitendogs and project rug.

both games are good, project rug it gets a bit to short. nitendogs it's not my thing. I want to trade/sell it!!

Cheers guys. Nintendogs is on the list. Getting that for my girlfriend (thats what im telling myself....) and the mario ones look good. Under the knife looks very interesting, but ill have to look into that one. I prefer puzzle/platform games, so marios probably my first choice. Whats better, '64' or 'new'? (Y)

Never played the new one but the 64 one is definetely a safe bet. I am sure the new will be superb but its just out so I havent played it.

You could always check some reviews(Y)

Mario Kart is the most necessary title - it's fantastic.

Other than that I'd recommend:
Animal Crossing
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Yoshi's Touch & Go
Nintendogs

And BOTH Mario titles. They're so different, and both very, very good.

OMFG Nintendogs Sux, get a real dog, much more fun. But getting on-topic, you should 100% get New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, And Metroid.

I've got Wario Ware as well.

I'd recommend that, but only if you think you'll be able to play with mates or something. Otherwise it gets very repetitive very quickly.

Haha, yeh, we do have a real dog. Mind you he's not much fun. Getting on a bit! Thanks all. Im looking at Metroid and a Mario game. Probably the newer one. :p

Mario Kart DS, NSMB DS and MPH are all great. Makes the DS just as good as the PSP.

Why did you buy the fat version?(:/) Nintendo bought out the DS Lite as the fat version was abit ass. It's not even like the Lite is expensive at £99:brow:

Yeah £60 ish and less. And anyway I would rather spend less money on the FAT one (That isnt even fat) than a bit more for the lite one :s

Yep, 60 squid. Ive allways been interested in the DS, but never enough to buy one full price. This way, I get to see if its right for me first, at nearly half the expense of a lite. I really like the system, so may flog it on and get a lite in the coming weeks. (Y)

If theres a game shop near you you can trade in your Fat DS and £40 for a DS lite

Haven't played many DS titles myself, but Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing and NEW SMB are great. The only title that you must avoid at all costs (from my experience) is Super Monkey Ball.

OMG taht game is great GH. Yes it tells you you are supposed to use the stylus but dont. The arrows do just fine. Great game mate and the mini games are class:cool:

I've always like Super Monkey Ball games, but I didn't bother getting the DS one because I heard it was below the standards of the Gamecube and GBA versions.

Nintendogs- If you like gay games.

Super Mario DS- 64 Port but still good.
Mario Kart DS- Second best game on the DS.

My DS games:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Great, but clocks in around 8 hours)
Kirby: Canvas Curse (Alright, but not worth a buy)
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (Awesome RPG)
Mario Kart DS (Sweet online play)
Meteos (The DS's Lumines, it owns)
Metroid Prime: Hunters (O.K. I never really got into it though because of bad controls)
Metroid Prime Pinball (Fun as hell but really hard to unlock new tables)
New Super Mario Bros. (Possibly my favorite DS game so far)
Nintendogs (Great gift for your girlfriend, mine loves it, but I don't)
Sonic Rush (Pure Sonic fun)
Super Mario 64 DS (Pretty sweet but still a port of the original)
Tetris DS (In the same league as Meteos - Tetris reinvented)

I recommend all of them except Nintendogs and Kirby
