Im gonna look around and have a read, and will get back to you :)
What I want is my own where my mates can come, maybe post in the forum and just look at my pictures and videos or something. And not one of those crappy looking things off www.freewebs.com.
geocities.com and ezboard.com
If you have no cash to spend.

Try hosted forum, they are good.
Example:
http://www.hosted-forum.com/index.php?boardid=0137405668&act=idx
That forum is dead now though. :(
You want to get yourself a simple blog like the one at typepad.com Very easy to setup and run :)

I actually enjoyed posting on there.
I decided I couldn't be bothered to start one anymore :p
Plus, I wouldn't know what to start a forum on, all ideas gone really.

That one that Deki posted is probably one of the best.
Or, there is Invision, which is quite good: http://invisionfree.com/
