It appears my trusty PC is on it's way out.... Just thought I'd share because if it does "I'm F***ed", I'll have no PC to replace as my other PC's Hard Drive has failed!
Random Crashing, Random Restarting, Errors, Programs not Loading, Taken to long to load... the list goes on.... and it's only getting worse!
Oh well...

Get a few £££'s together and build a new one.
I have built several in the past few years and will be going to upgrade this one (athlon 64 3200) for a Athon 64 4000 X2 (dual core) in the next few months.
You can also save yourself a huge wad of £££ by self building.

Thants not nice PHATSO
Hope you get it soon(Y)
Have you tried fixing it? You can try defragging the hard-drive, format and re-install Windows (this works wonders when things are going slow). Run anti-virus and spyware software etc.
Take the side off and give a good clean with a can of compressed air (£8 at PC World), this is something that everyone should do once every couple of months anyway, fans getting blocked and causing vital components, such as the cpu, to overheat can cause the computer to become very unstable.
Check all the connections inside as well, although if you do go touching anything in there it's best to make sure you've grounded yourself first.

Nar I couldn't do that to anyone, that's slack! Lol
Maybe when my Family gets back maybe one of them may hand me there credit card! Although I don't really see that happening....

Cheers for the advice! I might do that tommorrow once I found a place where I can stick 200Gb of data while I format the hard drive or I might just delete it all!

If you've got a DVD burner and the money for 30 odd blank DVDs you're sorted ;)

Do you know what.... funnily enough I don't!
Most of it's probably crappy videos and pictures except for my music collection!

also as a tip, use different hDDs, one for data - big 200gb one and one maller one - 40gb/20 for the windows installation, then if it goes wrong the you can re-install it, without having to erase all your data (Y)

That's a good tip. You may want to make that 40GB a 10k RPM drive. Install Windows and the 4 or 5 games you play the most. With a drive that fast Windows boots in the blink of an eye.
