Just thought I'd give people a heads up.... Virgin Megastores is having a Sale on some Xbox 360 titles. Might get Quake 4

Has anyone had Quake 4, was it any good? I hear the loading screens were annoying. I never got that or THAW the first time round.

i played quake4 on my pc, its a great game, i couldnt tell you how good it is on the 360 but i can tell you its well worth playing loads of cool levels and guns

The ones I played were fantastic games I couldnt stop playing. I need to get Quake 4 and that might be where I get it from martyn(Y)

Yea I got it and thought it was good! However the demo's don't often give a full impression of the whole game, just thought someone who had it before might like to give their opinion on it.

I kinda like quake demo on normal & live. having seen a few people on my friends list having it, they also seem to have an achievement tier for quake 2 (though you cannot gain any or they are zero). Therefore, my ? to anyone do you get quake 2 built in the game?

The demo is pretty much exactly the same as the game. It's a great game. Not sure If you get the Quake 2 bonus disc with every copy but I did with mine, and it included a 'making of' video. :)

Quake 4 for the 360 is a shoddy port of a good PC game.

They really dropped the ball with this one, there are long loading times, shoddy graphics and framerate issues. The multiplayer sucks as well.

meh, if you can get it cheap, tony hawks has let him self go recently
tony hawks 4 was the best, then they get progresivly worse

Hell yeah!!! I just want to own your ass on Live. :D

And Quake 4 is a okay game, however onlnie is diabolical. Can have to wait up to 20 minutes to get a match to actually work and not have a connection error. :(
