Wierd Xbox Live story..

Ok this thread is a little random but it's an excuse for me to share something a little crazy with you all.

Myself and another guy off my Friends list have been playing DOA4 with a man i'll call MR X since the console was released. Mr X was playing every night without fail and he is a friendly and fun Scottish chap.

A while ago I played with Mr X and he sounded a bit freaked out, I asked hime what was wrong.
He explained that he had been sleeping this girl he'd met and he really liked her, but he had found out that she already had a boyfriend.

The reason Mr X was so worried was because he had also discovered that this girl's Boyfriend was a well known very dangerous gangster/drug dealer in Glasgow, he knew about this affair and that he was in deep trouble.

Mr X said that if I didn't hear from him again that week that it meant he had been taken care of by this gangster guy.

Mr X hasn't been on Xbox Live since that night nearly 2 months ago.

This was someone I played with all the time and used to chat to for ages, he isn't the type to joke about either...very wierd and spooky.

Has any one else had any odd stories they care to share?

Your not worried about Mr X though are you? I can see how you can be, but if you think it is quite serious...

If a close member of the forums disappeared though it will prob make me feel worried. :(

This lad I met when getting a game in HMV, said to add him and he'd give me a game on Xbox Live.

Then we played a few games.... he was always on. The all of a sudden he stopped coming online, he hasn't been on for months and his account is still Gold.

I thought that was kind of wierd, maybe not as weird as yours thou!

If anyone changes their Gamertags, their Friends List is also updated to show their new gamertag to all their friends!

You sure he didn't just have a 2 month Live trial?

I don't have any good stories about Live yet....but I have a guy in my List who has never played a single game with me, been on list since 2005, but messages me ALL the time telling me about new games, features, Major's blog and pretty much everything....every message ends with 'we'll play soon'. Weirdo!

He is still on Gold and he has been offline for so long now it's odd. I am a bit worried about him yes, I am keeping him on my friends list for ever though in case he ever comes back as I'll always be wondering.

if you know his real name maybe u could check the obituaries on the net for glasgow for past few months, sounds abit left field i know, but maybe if its there (hopefully not) then it might put ya mind at ease

I just seem to get idiots who feel compelled to Sing Songs with my Gamertag in it. I dont know how many times I have had to mute people.

On a lighter note there is one chap on my friendlist who does an excellent running commentary when playing on COD2.

He also adopts the accent of the team he is playing for. He does a great German and Yankee impression. Some of the comments he comes away with are hilarious.

Playing PGR3...the random guy who joined and all he did was Arnie impressions!

'I am Arnold' 'get down' 'get to the chopper' pretty much every Arnie line. The as I started talking to him whilst wetting myself (Steve is such a mard and wanted to kick him) he went into mass conversations as Arnie...hilarious!

That's really wierd Vixen...MAYBE, he was trying to look rock solid and get you worried by saying that, then deletin you from his friends list or blocking you...therefore making you worried.

Yeah. It would just appear to you as though he hadn't been online for ages, which is how you see it. So it is a possibity.

Lots of people do that on the net.

The sister of my wife has done that a few times. She says to people she gets beaten and stuff and she even uses a webcam. she uses make-up to look real. Shes a bit crazy! - the other people sometimes never get to know it was a joke.
