Rite ive done a search, but can't find anything

Does gamin on xbox live kill ur usage limits ? ( minus the downloads - updates )

I wud really like to know ..

Im constantly lookin at the packets sent n stuff from the web browser for the router ... it doesn't look asif its taking alot .. But i wanted to make sure

If Im downloading stuff from PC I usually fing it gets priority, but if PC is just on the net and Xbox is on Live both run smoothly(Y)

Naa i accidently called it bandwidth, my mistake i was referring to the usage limits and how much playing on XboX live hammers/dints the limit ..

I know it wont affect all, but ive got a usage limit of 20gb :P

well let me say more.... it depends what your cap is and also depends on how much you play on Live. But it does add up

A cap is you limit every month.

Well that depends how long you play online for. You on a dedicated forum to 360 here so people on here are pretty hardcore gamers so we game for ages.

I got a 20gb .. I only really thought about it after a couple hours on projet gotham racing - I thought hmm ill look

Then i know some1 on this forum who told me about it :P So i thought id jus post up to see if any1 kinda knew if the limits wud take a hamering if u jus played (minus the updates)

i doubt you will hurt it unless you got your pc on 24/7 downloading. i think there is tools you can get to test your usage.

When I checked a random figure...80 hours online gaming and 10 large software updates per month...it said about 4gb usage.

It's a good calc...made by some NTL insiders so that the people can keep track of their usage since NTL imposed caps.

Theres this software you can download that gives your xbox prioraty over anything else so like you can still be downloading and it wont affect your xbox live

I would be doing a LOT of online gaming. UT2004 and CS:S mainly. I would manage about 40 hours a month which is 10 hours a week. Now not only would it be transferring the game data but with my PC it would be downloading peoples custom maps, mods characters etc. SN3AK2k6 said he does some online PC gaming. I took that in to consideration.

Well yesterday when i first played on xbox live with my mates we had a session in all lasting longer than 3hrs i wud say

Ive downloaded 2 demos @ 390mb and got the cadillac pack for PGR3 - it's not done 2.7gb with that =/

I once had a major gaming session of like 7 hours on Halo it took 0.12GB DL + 0.05GB UL = 0.17 GB i think

Depends if your host on Halo / GRAW? and stuff, everyone uploading and downloading from you = more on your limit.
