diddnt know where to put this, was just wondering if they had announced what connections they will be bringing out for both the new consolds.

im buying a vga box that allowsmetoshare 1 vga socket with 4 imput devices ori could go for the 2 imput one, which isa little cheaper.

so should i go witha safe bet and get the 4way one, in thinking that boththe wii and the ps3 will have vga cables available at some point.

Id imagine so, why not. You could gte ones for PS2 XBOX GC etc so you can get them for most

They'd be silly not to put in a native VGA output...so I hope so.

Sony would neglect to license one before Nintendo. The Wii will almost definitely have one available at launch.

yeah i bought the 4 way one for 24 quid it was only 14 quid but they slammed a tenner oon for delivery, plus they were theonly place that had them in stock that wasnt ebay, imnot set up to use ebay.

i know that the ps2 had a inbuilt dolby digital output, so this surgests that the ps3 will have, im worried the wii wont and illbe stuck with stereo

You posted in the right place bud. After all there are going to be more of us buying a Wii than 'a smack you in the face priced' PS3.

Nice audio unit....I just bought me one of those as I couldn't be bothered switching audio cables around

The speakers are a bit square-ified but they're pretty much hidden away, thecontrol unit just looks so cool next to my kit!

yougotthem yet, what they like on loud music

mjmaskrey

Yeah I have them...music played back via 5.1 on the 360 sounds fantastic...you also have the option to switch the speakers to double 2.1 for music (the rears switch to front speakers...so you have 2 lefts and 2 rights) and goes ridiculously loud I'll hardly even use it at 50% volume.

I'm more impressed with these than I was with my Altec Lansing 5.1 THX system.

the 360 only uses front left and right for music mate, wellmine does anyway, doesnt seem to be a way to make it work on the lot

right ive got my switch up and running and now it seems to beshowing some ghosting through trail and error ive worked out thatits my vga cables that are causeing this, i wonder if their any thing i can do to improve the picture quality as im a perfectionist when it comes to playing my games at a high resolution ect.

if all else fails ill buy some dogs bollox vga cables

Are you sure it's not the switch? Because my first cheap mechanical switch ghosted like no one's business. A nice, fat, wavy line of grey straight down the middle of the screen on input 2.

its the cables because ive tested my good gold 360 vgacable in the tv it was sharpe then i extended it using a female to female connector using one of the cables i use in the switch same results as when they are connected with the switch,so ineed good cablesi think.

Yeah, sounds like the cables. Should be cheap enough to replace tho. Cheaper than a new switch anyways.
