July..july

Lovely month. Usually not many games come out in the summer months. Well not if M$ has something to do with it!

As i type, there are 3 major games coming out in the first two weeks of july.

Chromehounds, Lotr:BfmeII, Prey that's three games that i will want and will skint myself to get (still got loads to do in most games so i cannot trade?)

August seems quite, unless the bring Dead Rising out which date slips back and back. Then September....

Loads apparently with TDU, Saints Row, Splinter Cell.

I've got 166 quid which has been growing and growing ever since my birthday back in May. Chromehounds demo was rubbish so I won't be buying the full game, will be getting Lord of the Rings and Prey though so that'll set me back 80 quid.

September is going to be the worst, so many games I want that month.

Yeah I have noticed, however Football Manager 2006 and Pro Evolution 6 are currently meant to be coming out late 06/ early 06, with Tony Hawk's Project 8 scheduled for November.

FM2007 you mean, and it's scheduled for a "before christmas" release :)

Yeah meant 2007, my mistake. And I know it's meant to come out before Christmas, but it will probably be delayed like most games to January.

Was going to get Chromehounds, but the demo has put me right off, the graphic detail was poor for a next gen game imo and the game play did not blow me away either.

Prey was not all that either.

Might have a look at LotR.

September is where the fun will be at!

The demo for chromehounds was a bit naff..but it was only the training misson, which 9xoutof10 are rubbish. I have seen this game on other levels and while it doesn't push the 360 still are very impressive. I think Live will be good with this and the main campaign is huge (apprently).

If no one get's it i will post a quick review.

Right the gameplay was crap, but how can you criticise the graphics? When I fired a missle into the grass mud splurted up with great realism, and buildings collapsed just like they should do when I rammed into them. Graphically the demo was great.....

i didn't think the mud looked that good at all - looked very 2d to me, as did the little men shooting at me. I also really didn't like how stuff just disappeared after you blew it up - very playstation 1 imo.

Not many games really to buy this month with only prey being the decent title. September will be the month to get skint as in the first 2 weeks of september there is Test Drive Unlimited, Saints Row and The very good looking Dead Rising coming out and then it gets busy again in november.

I've been skint right the way from March to July.... then I will still be skint till December.

I want LOTR BFME2, Over-G, and Chromehounds.. but I don't think I'll get Over-G or Chromehounds unless GS gets them in used by the end of the month.
I'm really waiting for September.. TDU and Splinter Cell!!
Then Rainbow Six in November!

If that was asked to me then i will keep an i out for releases. but the majority of new titles after these are september.

I'll keep a look out for XBLA and content dl packages

Well - I've just got myself a "MASSIVE" payout for a major web design job Ive finished. So I'm not skint at all...apart from the fact that I'm moving house, so I need the a cash for that. Plus, I no longer will be receiving free games from 360M for review, because I'm moving.

Stupid moving plans *grumbles into the corner*

Send the free games to me then instead - i'll review them ! (lol)

By the way i see you have CHOUNDS - managed to get on live yet? Well the official site said that servers are down again but should be back at 5pm (11/07/06) by the time Americans have had time to buy it?
