The anti-grav walkways are cool and so are some of the doorways, blank and see thru from one side then as you go to the other you get a kind of portal effect where you can see the other side...probably sounds crap from that but when you see it it's very nifty.

If the 360 demo is as good as the PC one it'll be a very good game. Watching the alien juicing machines drain and kill the humans is very amusing!

Well, I was not sure when it first fired up but when you get into the bar and have a wander around it looked very..um..Max Payne to me. Nice being able to use the slot machines and play a pac-man rip off called Rune *laughs* Textures do look a little odd from time to time but that is down to the Doom 3 engine. As soon as it all kicks off though, wow, such a great laugh. American Indians and Aliens is an odd combo but interesting. Since the game does hold a rating, there is some fairly harsh language and gore all over the place.

Levels do look disgusting, not in a bad way but they drip and pulsate with alien goodness. Blegh! Watching people get spiked and their juices being drunk was funny in a disturbing kinda way. Best moment for me was seeing the little planet in a glass box and then ending up in it...very cool!

I think this game has enough interesting twists, turns and features to make it fun and entertaining game to play. The anti grav bits make me feel like AvP which is no bad thing but it can take time to adjust to how running up the walls works. The rotation switches which rotate the level are very odd but funny to see everything move once you change the rotation of the level. I guess this could be one of the first games where you have to keep an eye on the whole level, since enemies and objects can appear all around you.

Thumbs up for the demo so far, it will be good to see the full version to test it out. As for multiplayer...not tried it yet so if anyone fancies a few games then give me a shout.

I didnt really do it for me:| I did about four levels and got bored:sleepy: I think its going to be quite playable and like mj said the walkways and portholes are cool. For me though its just the same as quake4 just with cherokee indians(N) (Y) :unsure:

Had a hour on playing the multiplayer aspect of the demo today with a couple of mates from school and had a blast! Being able to run up walls and go upside down is great, I am now definitely getting this game.

The Single player part of demo is very good. The Graphics are also very good. I also played mutliplayer for about one hour, almost every game i played I had extreme lag. Overall the demo is Ok

I also got lag when me and my mates didn't set the game to private. When there was just the 3 of us we were fine, but when there were 5 or more we had problems. Lets hope that lag will only occur in the demo, and not in the final product. (Y)

The little planet part was amazing, I also laughed at the humans getting spiked in the nuts before it went through thier chest. The most freaky part was the kid going crazy, I won't spoil it for others but it's insane.

Really enjoyed the demo, though if I did buy it, I wouldn't play "multiprey" much, as it's very similar to Doom 3, even though shooting someone on the ceiling is fun, it's lacking.

If you don't have 2 meg broadband or more well you should be ashamed of yourselves.:) You really have no right to complain that you can't get this demo or it's a large file. MS are making a loss on the console already so you can't expect them to provide DVDs of demos to people who can't sort their internet connection out.
1.7 Gig takes no time at all. Just click download and watch a couple of episodes of something on TV, then by the time you have had a TV fix it'll be done. Or now because of the update you could choose to play one of your existing games or demos. I personally think the bigger the demo the better! I think this Prey demo is the best demo I've ever seen. Ok there's a bunch of lag on the multiplayer but at least they stuck it in there. (Take note Chromehounds).
The game itself looks fantastic. There's so much to draw your attention. The walls pulsate and the weapons seem to be alive with twitching and movement. The only gripe is that when i was reaching to turn the tap in the bathroom the mirror image of me didn't show my hand moving. But everything else looks great. The whole single player was unique, interesting, well thought out, good-looking, innovative and overall fun. (take note Chromehounds)
With the voice acting and interactive environments it really reminded me of Duke Nukem at times. The mix of aliens and American Indians for a story is really something that I wasn't sure about. But when your playing it really works. It creates this fight between Alien fire power / technology and ancient native american spiritual powers. A juicy unseen combo that people should admire 3D Realms for delivering.

I'll deffo be buying this one. Thank you to the powers that be for this Demo:geek: (Y)

Well it took me an eternity to download on a 4mb connection....it took about 4-5 hours.

I think most of Europe must have stopped playing so they could watch the footie and download Prey demo in the meantime.

I don't find that racist, it's only a question as to why. And the answer is...to try and set it apart from other FPS...the spy,(Space)marine, etc. has been done to death.
