IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles with the Aces Expansion Pack and Pacific Fighters merged into it.

It's a World War 2 flight sim, it's expansion pack and it's sequel all merged into one game.

I tried IL2 and really didn't get on with it....had complete mare taking off and just got annoyed.

It's very highly regarded tho.

I have a stupidly large number of PC games but not all ones I can play online. Always up for a game of CSS though and maybe even RTCW/ET or DoD, PES4....Q3 if I can find my key.

I've gotten back into Guld Wars again after buying Factions the other day. PvP seems to have degenerated into you're wither a R5+ IWAY warrior or you don't get a HoH group though.

Though Factions was a bit crap skills wise as half of them are Prophecies skills with different names.

Yeah, I can't get HoH groups... I'm normally a RAer but when I did try to break into the HoH circuit, it didn't work out... r5-6ers only mainly, occaisionally I see a r3 group (still wont work for unranked me). And then theres the builds.. your either Iway, Bloodspike (getting rarer these days), or ranger spike (haven't seen one in ages).
I've given up trying for HoH... shame, I would have loved to be rank 3 at least :(



As for the skills, I think of the 50 or so new skills added to the core classes, 10 or 15 of them are recycled. 10 I think. Its not half but yeah, a fair amout. I minded when I first heard but when I was going around carrying arcane thievery and arcane larcenry, I stopped complaining XD

Whats your class and stuff?
Also, have you got past Vizunah Square? That tends to stick the noobies and returning vets XD

I've got 4 characters at the moment:

20 Monk (All Core and Prophecies Monk skills, 15k Wanders armour, Beaten all Prophecies missions and up to Arborstone in Factions)

20 Warrior (All but 3 Core and Prophecies Warrior skills, Beaten all Prohpecies missions)

18 Elementalist (Crystal Desert in Prophecies I think)

11 Ritualist (Still on Factions starting island)

When I used to play last year my monk always, and I mean always, got HoH groups. I got up to Rank 2 during that time but now I can't get a group to save my life.

What are your thoughts on the Factions PvE?
Personally I thought Proph PvE was mostly dull and lifeless and love the new difficulty and features of Factions. There was a mass outcry at the PvE/RP heavy community of Guildwars Online. They were saying the crazy difficulty and stuff was a way of Anet forcing their PvP down the throats of PvErs... I'm not entirely sure how difficult means PvP... I assumed "player vs PLAYER meant PvP not 'difficult' but whiney losers are whiney losers XD
Unfortunatley there was quite a lot of whiney losers and I do believe Nightfall will be closer to the drudgery that was Proph :( Shame...

But those are my bias opinions on their views... everyone thinks different

(And yes, the voice acting has degraded considerably lol).

Also, my main is a mes/n, no love for mesmers in HoH ever pretty much :(

Thankfully my /n means atleast some of the skills I've unlocked are usefull.

Age of Conan doesn't interest me too much. I played WoW for a year and am glad I'm out. I have no intention of going back to whats essentially a 'forced' timesink. The graphics look nice but I was never into Conan too much to care about the world and lore etc. Plus that click to attack thing is a put off for me... it sounds good yeah but it reminds me of Ragnarok Online which had click to attack and that... yeah click2atk not for me :/

I am however looking forward to see the development of Warhammer Online is coming.. seems PvP heavy and rather fun
But if its "Item based" like WoW (more specifically WoW endgame) then I'll give it a pass...
