Prey Demo- Pc

Has anyone played the PC Prey demo? Its awesome. So many great ideas and the graphics are really good too.(Y)

I haven't I'll await the demo release of Prey for the 360. A mate of mine has got the pc demo and he says his pc can't really run it all that well and its only a year old too. You got a link to the demo and what the minimum system requirements are?

I downloaded from here....http://www.download.com/Prey-demo/3000-7453_4-10552044.html As for req specs, not sure. But my system ran it okay, a few stutters, but nothing major, at 1024 x 768 and it looked fantastic. My rig is by no means that powerful - 1.8 ghz athlon xp, Radeon 9800 PRO 256MB, and one gig of memory. I assume the 360 demo will be out very soon, so it may be worth waiting.;)

Im more impressed with prey than i was with Doom3 when i first laid my eyes on it. It is still very 'doomish' though i thought, same dark merky corridors and pipes across the floors and the odd organic 'thing' molded on to the walls. AI seemed ok but not great from the soliders you face, the best feature though is the portals, that is a nice touch, that, the gravity switching and spirit mode just places it many notches above the dissapointing Doom3/Quak4.

What i did love in the demo, was seeing that clear box with what looked like a balloon inside it and thinking 'WTF is that?' and 'why cant i break the glass!' to then be squeeze to the size of a pea and fighting on it seconds later! That was a great suprise!

yeah lol, i've downloaded it and found that bit good, did you do that bit were your crawling through the teleport boxes and just keep going in circles lol

lol was gonna play the pc demo yesterday but as the downlaod finsihed i was talking to a mate and i stoped the transfer to my pc right at the end, may download again today if not just will buy for the 360 when it comes out. looks ace

Theres a great bit, when you first experiance the gravity switches, i think. Your character throws up.....in first person!:sick:
