I haven't seen it myself the missus has but when it comes to religion related issues I always seem to be rather controversial so I'm not going to say anything in this case. The missus said the film wasn't as good as the book but then again they never are though.

I have never read the book so dont know how well it translates from Page to Screen.

well i got dvd from my jap friend that comes into my work, anyway went to watch it at home and realised it was the wrong one it was some man talking all the way though about it, only got it to see what all the hype was about

Well as the Da Vinci Code is pure fiction, I fail to see how the story itself is controversial.

The only controversial element to the Book and Film is the Producers and Writers failure to make clear to the audience that it's not Real or based on any facts!

Actually not pure fiction at all! The Priory of Sion is real! Opus Dei are real! All referernces to Artwork architecture and what else are REAL! So therefore not entirely fictional! and also the story is conntroversial because of the fact that it clearly states the church is lying and also how a pope murdered a kinght of Templar!

So Dan Brown makes references to these "group" meaning his book is real. All Fictions must have reference to Real Life otherwise they would have no emotional basis.

I enjoy a good conspiracy theory but it's got to be more than just someone's imagination for it to be interesting.

I still like the fact that they had this huge dramatic battle score while Tom Hanks was looking at anagrams as if he were at Minas Tirith during LOTR. I laughed in the theaters.

i aint seenityet but its based upon facts the history ofitall but the story is ficton as was u571 to ww2 but ww2 still happend and the enigma machine existed and trops did steal one or two.

I didn't mention anything about it being controversial I said I am controversial when it comes to religion. I have a big mouth which upsets people but there you go thats just me.
