Hey i just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about sending heavy items (a guitar) after its been bought! Will i have to get in touch with couriers first or what? Cheers guys!
No you only need to fix the shipment after someone buy it, if you don't get it sold you'll not need to send anyway.
To send a guitar should be no problem, if you dont have a case pack it good and pray to lord, remember if you send it with normal mail and it gets damaged they will say it's because of bad packing, YOUr FAULT!!!!

Yea make sure when sending it's sent by insured delivery by the courier with a cost that covers the price of the guitar.

I am well pished off with eBay (or more the Post Office) atm. Bought a nice Adidas Original's tracky top, well my Mum did, but meh...came yesterday but knowone was in, so they put a thing through door to go and pick it up from t'Post Office tomorrow (today), went to get it this monring, and they had LOST IT!!!! WTF! Bloody idiots!
Jam Man - just ring up a courier dude to come and pick it up. :)

wait so lets run this thru in seps- 1. sell item 2. rind courier noobs up 3.erm let themtake it. so where does this insurance ting cmoe in? Sorry guys im useless so you'll have to explain in really idiot language!
The courier should offer basic insurance on every delivery they make. To be honest I would send it Royal Mail special delivery:
