This is sad news...Djibril Cisse has broke his leg again. (N).

If this is the same leg as last time he will not play again...which is really sad.

 Oh, in that last play, where his foot touches the ground!

Well, he may well play again, we will see.

Good luck to him!

Yeah, the good thing is he's only 24, so he definitely has time to recover and could play again.

Probably never be as good, though.

You could see that after his last injury, he hasnt quite been the same player. With another bad one like this i feel this may just shatter his confidence completely whether he comes back or not.

At least its his different leg. My arm has broke like there legs have broke and my arm feels much more stronger now so good luck to him.

Lucky you, i broke my wrist two summers ago, and its still a pain in the ars.....Wrist.

Well mines was right in the middle of my arm (between the hand and elbow)
And it was really clean snap so they put it back together like a pencil if you snapped it.

I made a thread about injurys or something Ill try and dig it up. Try searching SCARS in the searchy bit.

But back on topic now:)

Yeah i know what you mean, my wrist was like that. Clean snap. I just get niggles every now and then though.

Back on topic as you say, I dont know what this means for his career. He was looking likely to be leaving Pool in the summer, but im not sure where this leaves him.

Saw this on BBC Sport yesterday and couldn't really believe it. I mean you have to be extremely unlucky to have both legs break. Poor guy. :(

A bugger for L'pool now as they'll lose money and possibly a world-class player as that's what they'd have bought with Cisse's money. :s

Yup. Liverpool will be cursing their luck. Add on top of that, the fact no one might be willing to take a risk on him, that leaves Pool with a player they dont want for another year.

Lol - there is no way he will pass a medical anywhere for about 7 months now...so that's 7 months wages Liverpool will have to pay him - while they could have sold him and bought a really good player who would be benefiting the team.

As it stands, correct me if im wrong, but up front all they have right now is:

Peter Crouch, Robbie Fowler and Luis Gracia??

WACCOE

Yup...with no Cisse and Morientes gone. Plus I wouldn't class Luis Garica as an out and out striker...more of an attacking midfielder who can sit in the hole.

They may well just play 1 up top with Garcia behnid if they do not sign anyone else.

I wasnt sure to add Gracia in because of what you just said.

Because they havent managed to sell Cisse (And are now unlikely too) how do you thinkg Rafa plans have changed. With no money to spend on a big name striker I think it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I personally though when Cisse left, they would go for Defoe, but with little £££ going about now, i cant really see that being a go-er now.

I suppose Kewell can play up there...but still, they are very short.

I feel sorry for them in a way because a lot of their fans will have been looking forward to a big name signing and a title push this year, but unlesss something miraculus happens i cant see it.

I doutb he has weak bones

the first break against blackburn would have been the same for any player in the world as would that against China, he was just the wrong man at the wrong pitch at the wrong time..........

take a look at the first break

Its not a nice sight in the slightest.

Also read today, Liverpool are set to move for Bellamy with Cisse being out untill at least X-mas.

Twice someone has just tapped the back of his leg and twice it has snapped, he must have really weak legs. I seen a challenge on SWP years ago that bent his leg so hard I thought it was broken, but it wasn't, so I wouldn't call it 100% bad luck really but as I said, weak legs.
