This lad in my form at school has an iPod video thingy...I always watch little clips he has on thee and the picture is perfect. Just liek watching a normal TV for quality, just smaller. :D

I was gonna buy one of those a couple of months ago. I love my music loud and that one you could flash the Euro firmware to the American one where you can unlock the sound limiter.

I recently bough one of these (see picture below) because my old mp3 player was pretty rubbish. Its only 512mb but for £39 at Tesco I was having it!

I was one of the first people in Cornwall to own an ipod. Got it shipped over from Canada. Was good but decided it was time for change. I then got an iRiver H340 and that was better but it was much bigger than the iPod. I then sold it for more than I payed for it and I am now waiting for the next gen MP3 players to come out. When I mean next gen I mean players that:

Drag and drop into explorer. No messing around with any other software
Colour screen
Decent battery life
And all the other crap I cant be assed to explain cause I'm tired.

Microsoft are "supposed" to be bringing out a MP3 player which is "supposed" to wipe the iPod off it's feet. Otherwise I will end up buying the new gigabeat player.

I have about 3 iPod Videos, in my house but I have to say the Video element of it is someone lacking, I have found one particular bug that annoys me.

The Audio and Video can come out of Sync when you skip through the video, which is really annoying and I only know of one way of stopping that and thats restart the video again.

everything is supposed to be an ipod 'killer' and is marketed that way, it wont happen, too many people have bought an ipod now, and see it as an investment, they've paid a couple hundred for it and will keep it until the latest ipod comes out, which they will buy because they know its good

I have an iPod Mini and do like it, it looks cool and does what I want it to do...just one problem (and this is with ALLLLL iPods), the battery! Why does it run out sooo quick! Anyone else find this? :s

Well, my battery is meant to be 18 hours...but it seriuosly last's like 5. :s

My purchase arrived today. Very impressive it is too. Xvid playback is smooth and the screen is on a par with the PSP.

I have flashed the firmware already to unlock the sound limiter. Damn Euro govt policy. American firmware is now installed and the unit is at least 30% louder. Great for annoying people on the bus in the morning.
