If the offer does come his way I am sure he will take it. He's done lots for Arsenal so he should move on to a different country before it's too late!

I think he will stay at Arsneal, after the great season they have just had (especially in Europe), there is no way he is going to leave. :)

Not going to happen.
Now that Henry is staying there's no way Wenger will go.

(Fact: Arsenal's old ground (highbury) can't be knocked down because the big clock on one of the stands is a landmark)

Stadium does look great though, time they had a modern ground asHighbury was nearing it end. Dad's work pal is excited to bits as he can now get his silver season ticket ???, apparently he waited 10 years+ for it. Gold he wants next, but apparently you only get one when someone pops it.
All i want is 4 Niall Quinns bid to come soon, so Sunderland can start re-builing. When it comes off, Quinny wants O'Neill to manage on a part-time basis so he can continue to look after his wife aswell. Could happen as O'Neill is a life long Sunderland fan. Quinny also wants Hartson to fire them back into the prem, that that would be good.

Very true! I mean...Luxemburgo (who the hell was he??). They have a good enough team to compete with Barca, they just haven't got the manager. And haven't had for a long time!

Good managers are too scared to join them, because they fear for their job. It's the least secure job in football, the Real Madrid job, as there's so much pressure on the coaches.

I know. What's he called, George Burley, was doing really well. They may have done even better if he would have stayed, could of been like Aberdeen with Ferguson. :D

It's because Vladimir Romanov is a plank that can't understand why some managers and players don't all want to follow his stupid rules.
I'm convinced Hearts would have won the league this year if Burley had stayed in charge. He'd played 10 games in the SPL - won 8, drew 2. Then they sacked him... stupid, really.

Yeah, then that new manager they put in charge was a joke!

What, that paedophile, Graham Rix?
The Lithuanian guy in charge right now is alright - shame Romanov seems to have gone off him as well. All because Ivanauskas wants to keep Andy Webster (Hearts' best defender) when Romanov doesn't like him.
Dearie me, eh? :D

A few things: Arsene Wenger honours all the contracts he signs. Thus the possibility of Wenger going to coach Real Madrid would go against his principles; his contract runs till 2008. Wenger is a principled man (do not confuse him as that of the ilk of the money-grabbing coach Sven). Arsene Wenger has coached in a variety of countries: France and Japan. So his moving across the water to Spain on grounds of experiencing a different country is spurious, at best.
if he does go and i think he will it will be at the end of his contract 2006, hes already said he would of liked the england job when it ran out so i can see him going then
Wenger considers international lower of that of club football. In response to his approval of Walcott entering the England when he didn't enter him into his first-team squad, he said that the defenders he [Walcott] will be facing in the World Cup won't be of the quality he faces in training. Wenger is a smart coach, and he wouldn't touch England with a forty-foot pole. He politely turned them down through the use of a principle (he honours all contracts); it's called chicanery and subtly, kid.
Good managers are too scared to join them, because they fear for their job. It's the least secure job in football, the Real Madrid job, as there's so much pressure on the coaches.
They don't fear for their job; they know they have a contract and they can earn a hefty pay-check if Real Madrid decides to fire them. The club is run by a President who needs to deliver what he promised in pre-election (Galatico every year), and one thing managers hate more than anything else is an egotistical owner/President picking the team and buying the players. (Moriniho's first demand, when offered the job at Chelsea, was full control over buying and selling players.) On that point, there is/was a Presidential election in Real Madrid, and I suspect that Wenger's appointment was one of the potential-presidents' promises if he was elected.
If that isn't enough to convince you, then consider the fact that Wenger has built up one of the best Youth academies in Europe (and the world possibly) in Arsenal; convinced Henry to help build a youthful team to challenge the Premiership and Champions League, and Wenger is smart, and smart coaches don't like to run circuses. Therefore in one word: no, Wenger will not be moving to Real Madrid.
