Hitman: Blood Money is a film adaptation of Eidos and IO Interactive's stealth-action game of the same name. The movie, like the game, chronicles the exploits of a lone assassin code named as Agent 47. Vin Diesel has signed on to play Agent 47, the titular assassin of the game series, on the big screen. Charles Gordon and Adrian Askarieh will produce the project, along with Eidos vice president of marketing and communications Paul Baldwin. The film is expected to be released in 2007.

The voiceover of the main character is done by David Bateson, the voice-actor for Agent 47 in the game.

There has been quite a negative reaction to Diesel's role as the main character especially with the fans of the game since Vin Diesel does not look at all like Agent 47.

He's got the worlds sexiest voice. I love him just for that and it's the reason I played the Chronicles of Riddick game....

Hitman sounds good, I like the franchise.

as soon as i read the first line i new they wouldvr given the role to Vin, although i feel hes way way to big to play 47, dont think ive evere heard of this Timothy Olyphant, ill have a look what else he has done

Just watched the trailer and it looks like they stayed close to the Hitma story from the game. Infact I'm surprised how much it resembles the game.

I wonder if the film takes the story from the latest game?

yep..looks interesting but this Timothy looks a little young..perhaps they should have gone for an older bloke? no

Timothy Olyphant has played a few decent roles....I think he'll play the part well aside from the fact he is too young looking.

He needs the emotionless hardened killer look..where as Tim has kind of boy-band face in the shot in the trailer.
