Before this thread starts, I noticed a lot of threads are getting closed recently for straying off topic, so if this one does, the person who is responsible will get a good spanking. Thanks.
Right, exams. Urgh. I have GCSE's starting tomorrow, got English Lit and ICT. Dreading them, really am. :s
Anyone else got any kind of exams coming up soon? And, how did everyone else do in their GCSE's?
:)

good god id hate to do exams again, they blow. dont worry about it so much, if you do, you'll get nervous and mess up a bit, trust me its not the end of the world if you fail any either,
my mate needed four C's or above including a music GCSE to get on the music course, he got four C's but didnt get his music one, still got in though (Y)

My Dad will absolutely rape me I I don't do well though, which imo is uneeded pressure. :s

Well, got my first one this morning, 35 mins to be precise (why am I still on here?), and it's Enlish Lit, just like all the other 16 year olds out there that haven't dropped out. (Y)

I hated my GCSE's, I scored C's and B's on all my subjects but R.E and English which I had to retake in order to get the course im doing now.
As for the course im doing now if you add every individual curricular exam throughout the two years I've done nearly 30 just ITE and another 16 in CCNA.

Ah right. ;)
Well English turned out easy in my opinion. The bit on the novel (Of Mice & Men) was a doddle and the pre-1914 poem part was slightly more tricky, but we had ages to do it in.
IT this afternoon was OK. In places it was easy then there would just be a random question worth a lot of marks and i'd be like "WTF?!?!" - as there was some thing's we've never been taught, which is a bit silly.

mice of men was easy and so was section b's blood brothers, the poem we had was about a prisioner and that was pi$$

:sleepy: 2 whole hours of R.E this morning. It is only half a GCSE so I polished the exam off in 30 minutes, a quarter of the allocated time. Then I built a tower out of my pens, pencils, rulers etc. :D

I dont know why it takes so long to get them corrected its so annoying. We bother to turn up for the exam and they dont have the courtesy to correct it and get our results off to us until August.
ugh...

Got a Science GCSE exam on Thursday worth 25% of my overall grade (I think). Now I discover that it really doesn't help you out in the long run for copying people, as that's what I've done for the past few years and this exam is going to murder me. :(

The English Paper 2 exam today was really easy. I did question 1 about the 'Vultures' poem, and then I did question 5 - Describe yourself. Was really easy and I even had time to read some of the prose stories in the back of the Anthology at the end, as I had nothing to do! Lol.
Maths again on Monday MORNING!!! Should be fun. Least it's calculator.
A lasses phone went off in our exam today though, it was at the front of the hall in her bag, was meant to be on silent but obviously wasn't. Went off. The teachers had time to snuff it out and claim it...knowing the person's who it was would have to go claim it back, so they know who's phone it was...she will probably get d/q'ed from English, and POSSIBLY all of her exams. She's a bright lass aswell.
Another went off in this monring exam which they didn't have time to find.
But it's silly because at the begininning of each exam they stress how important it is to have all phones, pagers etc. at the front of the hall SWICHED OFF - they even give you the chance to go chack if there off before it starts. Stupidity.
