Need For Speed, Achievement Not Registering

Right well I went round my friends house to help him out in defeating the black list on Need For Speed Most Wanted, mainly because he can't be bothered. So, I did the needed Milestones and Races as well as defeating Big Lou twice in in a race at the end. However the achievement for defeating Big Lou did not register. I have managed to go onto the next person on the black list and the game is still working as it should be, however the achievement hasn't been unlocked. Has this happened to any of you?

ya none of mine registered. i got bored and ended up playing some of it again and the ones i redid registerd

Damn that must have been extremely annoying for you :|. My friend had defeated 3 people and them achievements had all registered, then mysteriously the 4th person's defeat didn't register. :(

All of mine registered fine when I did it, shame that I lost all my data/GS so it odesn't look like i've done it now. :(

I don't know what he's going to do. He doesn't like the game as it is, now not having a achievement register for him will probably mean he will never bother to play the game again. Shame. :(
