Rank on Burnout Revenge

Okay well I just spent the last 25 minutes in a 5 round race event, and I managed to win overal. There were 5 of us, 1 person quit in the first race and another person quit after race 3. Now why I made this thread, it's because despite winning my rank didn't go up. I was 26,750th before the race, and 26,750th after the race. The race was classed as a Ranked match, as I could see by at the top of the screen when the race had ended.

What I want to know is why has this happened? It happened to me all the time on Full Auto and that annoyed me so bad, I eventually gave up trying to get a high position on the Scoreboard. Please don't tell me the same thing is going to happen on Burnout Revenge. :(:(:(

I no this is a totally diffrent game but i get the same with halo2 and then i find that it updates my stats and levels later not staright away. So it could just be a case of letting it update ure stats and levels in its own time.

Sometimes that was the case with Full Auto, but most of the time my stats never got updated. I really am hoping you are correct though, I think Burnout Revenge is a brilliant game and I would love to get a high place on the scoreboards. I won't be able to if my stats never update though. :(
