Kaspersky and Ashampoo WinOptimizer 3 both have month-long trial periods. Highly recommended anti-virus and system tweaker, respectively.

You'll also want Auto Copy, it automatically copies any text you highlight (When have you selected text for anything other than copying?):
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/383/

And Video Downloader, it downloads video from youtube and google and so on, all that embedded stuff:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

And Download Statusbar, this is an improvement on the Downloads window. Now it's just a small little mini bar at the bottom of your browser:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/26/

And Smartsearch, this is the one reason you'll highlight text for not copying- looking things up. You highlight text, right click on it, and you can search Google, Amazon, IMDB, Wikipedia, etc, for the highlighted text:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/188/

I like Tab Mix Plus as my tab extension, it has a built in session saver (that means it saves all of your windows and tabs, and you can instantly open all of them back up when you start up Firefox), shows progress bars for the loading of each tab, and the tab labels have red text if they've loaded something you haven't seen:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1122/

Flashgot, this downloads every link on a page all at once (---- sites, anyone?):
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/220/

And Forecastfox Enhanced- Having a 5 day forecast in the status bar at the bottom over every window is just awesome. Plus a satellite/radar image of your location, and it can be animated. It's awesome.:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1978/

Also, now that you're using Firefox, you can go to the Forums mainpage. See that little 360M icon next to the address? Drag that down to the bar immediately under the address field. Now you've got a renamable, repositionable button that'll always bring you here. You can also make a button for 'New Posts', but it's a little trickier. Make a button the same way, then right-click on it. Go to properties, and replace the url with 'http://360monster.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew'
