Anyone play Saint's Row at E3?

I was wondering how people think of this game compared to GTA. I have heard a lot of bad things. Anyone here got a chance to play it? Please post your thoughts. Thanks

I saw the video, it's on the marketplace.

It could look better i think, but if it's bigger than san andreas then it's ok the looks are a bit down.

Its basically to me a GTA filler until GTA comes out. It looks good enough at the minute but I wouldn't say I'm that impressed by it and if there were a demo to come out then I'd definitely give it a bash. As for the controls people always have a rough idea on what their favourite control type is. Usually I will stick to the default controls but if they are rubbish and you can customise them I do.

I have never seen the Appeal of GTA or games like it. I am all for giving the player free reign to play the game how they feel, and its obvious that I am in the minority when GTA is such a huge seller. This one looks like a poor clone.

No, I said it has a free reign. I don't like the open ended gameplay where you can just wander around for hours shooting, hijacking, pilaging etc with no real goal.

Im looking forward to this but like Dcontrol said its just a filler until the new gta comes out
