Creed PS3 Demo at E3 Running on Xbox 360 ?

We don't really have much to back up this story except that it was posted on IGN for a short amount of time:

Ubisoft Montreal revealed its next incredible project, Assassins: Creed, exclusively for PlayStation 3 at E3 this year, much to the delight of Sony console fans and to the dismay of Microsoft consoles fans. Ubisoft officially would not comment on a possible Xbox 360 version.

According to sources close to the company, however, there are potential plans for an Xbox 360 version at Assassins: Creed sometime in 2007. Additionally, Microsoft sources who asked not to be mentioned by name, claimed the demo, hidden behind closed doors at E3, was running on an Xbox 360 using a third-party USB PlayStation controller. The game system was hidden in a stand covered by a sheet. Again, Ubisoft officials would not comment.

I hope that's true, Creed does look amazing and it would be foolish of Ubisoft not to publish this title on other platforms. I predict we will see it after Sony has loosened its exclusive claws around it for a few months.

Assassin's Creed was by far one of the biggest announcements of E3. "What about Halo 3?" you ask. Yeah, sure... big too, but we'd already read about the trailer on the internet before it all happened, so we were just waiting for it. Assassin's Creed on the other hand, just came out of nowhere, and it blew my mind away!

This is one amazing game, and if that article is true, then I'm "lol" at them. Personally, I think the game will be announced for the 360 in the coming weeks/months. The PS3 exclusivity was just a misleading advertising scam to help Sony out and raise the PS3 hype-bar a bit.

But what the hell, that's just my opinion.

But they can't outright deny it, raised. Think it through. If they deny it was running on a 360, then why won't they comment on if it's coming out for the 360? So let's assume they do comment on a port. And let's assume it is coming to the 360. If they say no, they lied. If they say yes, they **** off Sony, who may well have put in a sillence clause in a licensing contract. Let's assume it isn't. They can't say yes, because then that's a lie for no reason. They can't say no because then they've either shut the door on ever porting it to the 360, or if they do port it anyways, they were lying again.
