vga- laptop

I am getting an xps m1170 laptop with 512 mb graphics card, media centre,
2gb ram, 100gb hd and 17 inch screen.
It has a vga slot so will i be able to use my 360 on it with the help of a vga cable.

well generally laptops dont have a vga in, its generally only a vga out so you can hook it up to other monitors, i cant find the laptop your talkin about though, do you mean the xps m1710?

im gonna have to say no then, you wont be able to use the vga cable on it :( sorry :(
