I'm not sure how to finish that. I'll just leave it as it is to sound filthy.

Anyway. Nice to be here. I don't own an Xbox and don't plan on buying a 360 unless Microsoft pulls it's thumb out and releases more than 5 games for the console that I like. That said, i've been blown away by the graphics on show, so if the gameplay is up to scratch I may have a dabble.

What the hell? 2007? Why don't they just not release it at all? Everyone will have bought 360s by then.

And for the record, i'm going for the Revolution as my first new console.

Go for it, it'll be Nintendo's last by the looks of things. Most of it rests on those odd controllers. Everyone is ranting and raving about them, I remember a similar controller on the Dreamcast, that was a fishing rod. It was rubbish. lol.

Could I have a link to the source where you're all getting this information from?

Nintendo's last? Good one Steve :P

How many Xboxes sold in Japan? 3 was it? Oh wait, 4. :D

And if innovation and originality is going to provide the foundation for the next Ninty console then I welcome it, i'd much rather that than a bunch of fancy graphics with no playability to back it up.

NOTE: That wasn't a jab at the 360, it just remains to be seen how good the games will be on it.

Not many, but then what do you expect from a country that simply hates anything that looks ugly, lets say for example, a big hunk of black plastic with a green bevel.

The Xbox 360 wont beat Nintendo in Japan, granted. But it'll beat them everywhere else. If Nintendo lose interest in foriegn soil, it will flop. Simply because no publishers will publish their games over here if they are all about train simulations. ;)

Aslong as Nintendo have there supporters they will be fine, Nintendo always make a profit. :geek:

I hope it sticks around, after all, we cant lose Mario!

But Im getting a few rumours on the grapevine that if this isnt as successful as they hope, it'll be the last one they do and they could do what Sega did.

I hope not, because I love variety, not to mention that Nintendo and Sega owned the market for 10-15 years, now Microsoft and Sony have came in and are sweeping up.

However, Mario on the Sony and Xbox would be cool :D

Nintendo always find away to bring out something new. Im sure this is not the end!

I think I'll stick with Microsoft and Sony as I'm not a great fan of Nintendo.

Personally, neither am I.

But always something handy to have...if you've got kids ;)

The only profits Nintendo make in the west comes from their handhelds. The DS is by far better than the PSP and sales will probably start to show that once Nintendogs catches on, and the Gameboy Advance is still selling better than the PSP and it's been around for 4 years.

That aside, Nintendo can always rely on the Japanese market.

It'll be interesting to see which console sells best in America though.
