New Burger King Ad Games

Burger King is apparently going to start giving away Xbox and Xbox 360 games with Value Meals, and/or selling them for $4. There will be 3 types of games- Action, Shooting, and Racing.

Personally, I'm glad to see this happen. Sure, the games are cheap and cheesy (and beefy), and the Burger King himself isn't a great character to base a game on, let alone three, but as more and more companies wake up to the gaming industry, things can only improve. You guys may not know it, but once other industries start advertising in things like EGM and OXM, we'll all be better off.

I hate Burger King, yet I'm tempted to go and buy a meal for some reason, so it MUST be working.

their was a macdonalds game for the amegia it was a platformer all i can remember about it was like super mario bos a rip off i think.

I think you mean Mic & Mac Global Gladiators...not exactly a McDonalds game I think it was just an endorsement it had so the tokens you collecetd were the Golden M's.

Also Zool had Chupa Chup lollipops all over the place....the 7-Up Cool Spot and no doubt more.

As a follow-up, someone found the FAQ that BK managers are getting surrounding this campaign. Among other things, it gushes and gushes about the greatness of the Xbox. "We have entered a new era of gaming thanks to the Xbox 360™. The Xbox 360™ will enable a leap to hi-definition graphics, where character movements and expressions are intensely vibrant and realistic. Multi-channel, powerful positional audio fidelity will be so clear and precise that players will hear the faintest enemy footsteps from behind. Immersive, multi-media entertainment experiences will integrate individuals’ music, movies, photos and TV choices into their game scenarios. "

It also shows that these games will cost 3.99, -with- the purchase of a value meal.
