Quick 1000 Gamerscore on XBLA

Gamespot has a guide on the ease of achievements on the current selection of Live Arcade titles.

Most of these aren't cheesey ways to fudge the system. It is, for the most part, a list of the easiest achievements that add up to 1000. A couple of them do involve cheesing a flawed system, though, like the doubling cube in Backgammon.

And of course it means buying a lot of MS points. If Microsoft was hoping gamerscore would make people buy more games per console, it seems to be working.

To me though, most of these Arcade Games are rip off's. I mean 1,200 MP's for Bankshot Billiards is robbery!

I know what you mean with the prices they are quite expensive but I just had to have Bankshot Billiards to play against my mate who thinks he's "it" at pool.

Interesting. I must say clicking that link has inspired me to play a bit more of Crystal Quest and try and get a couple of more achievements on the game.

Also I totally agree with the price thing, we are getting ripped off. (N)

Yeah, Bankshot Billiards in particular is a bit of a joke. 1,200 points? Pfffffft.

I had a trial on that and thought it was pretty cool. Was a toss-up between that and Geo Wars. Only 1 winner though. :p

I got Bankshot for free!, and no I don't think there robbery maybe a bit overpriced but not robbery lol. Think about, you can go watch a movie at Theater and pay $10 for 2-3 hours of entertainment, while buying an Arcade game for $10 will give you 10-15 Hours and more if you really enjoy the game.

Your correct killer, going to the cinema is rather expensive if your going with a family. Unless it's a film you badly want to see you should just wait for the DVD to be released lol.

But still, some of the Xbox Live Arcade games are too expensive in my opinion.
